It's been three years. Three years since I said "Hey, lets do a clop fic that was also a deconstruction of a bad fic." And then I posted it.

I couldn't be happier.

I never really thought it would be a thing with me, you know. I always thought that I would just throw it in, make some stories for a bit, and then wash it off. But, then I started to get fans, fanart, and people liking my stuff. I never really expected to gain all of this or was I ever dreaming it was going to happen. So from the bottom og my heart, thanks to everyone. Why? Because if I touched any of you, made you laugh, cry, fist pump, or just feel tingely, then I did my job as a writer.

I love how this fandom continues to inspire me, bring me awesoem things, and makes me happy. I love the creativity they bring and lets me bring it out.

So, what also inspires me story wise and what went into the making of my main fic? Well, let's find out.

Fan Fic.

The first I would say would be

The Immortal Game. I love the fight scenes in this story, the struggles and the character development. While some may not like Titan, I do love him dearly. His power and presence on this fic makes him a top teir villian in my eyes. I love how the fic manages to give each mare their own style in terms of fighting that makes it unique. The story also does a good job of showing what a battle between god beings would b like.

And of course, Fallout Equestria, or my favorite fanfic of all time.

I think I was also inspired by Wanderer D's Empty Room. Mainly in the use of Luna as a shadow force, but also in the split of Twilight into two. Hell, the bad side of Twilight is acutally called Spark on multiple occasions.

Also driving me on in this have been bad fics/hate fics in general. If you haven't guess by now, I have been through a crap ton of these, and some of them would make Starfleet look like a love fest in comparison. IT really helps everytime I read one of these to remember that they are the cause of things like Conquest.

I don't think it's much of a strech to figure out that one of the biggest inspirations for the fic is Fullmetal Alchemist. As a matter of fact, when writing the stuff for Titan's trio, my first thought was "Think of Lust from the first series." I remember I had a letter that asked if the trio and their questioning about themselves and their hearts came from Kingdom Hearts, and I agreed. It's a small part, most of it was FMA. Also this influenced a lot of the Belle and Spark scenes, mainly AL's own sense of identity.

Another anime that influenced is Rurouni Kenshin (Yes, I know about Watsuki; however, tht doesn't really change how this magna influenced me and how much I love the ideals of redemption, perserveance, and second chances) The ideas of having Lighting struggle with his own pain over what he done is kind of tied to Kenshin.

And do I even need to say that a lot of the fight scenes are influenced by DBZ and Sailor Moon? Because it has been a huge influence on a lot of things I do. From Power ups, to big beam attacks, to speed, and beyond. As a matter of fact, the Umbra Circle made me felt like I was writing Sailor Moon at the end. While I will tell you that DBZ is not the greatest anime in existance (But it is nonetheless fun) I can tell you that I have taken some of the style presented here in the script. Sailor Moon also tends to inspire me for the use of fight music and theme music power ups.

Let me start off by saying that in the Grand Ruler vs Lighting Fight, I had him perform a Shoryuken and Hurricane spin kick from Street Fighter.

Ok, so as I said, I was influenced a lot by Kingdom Hearts, asking about what it means to have memories and emotions. Do we groww a heart and what it means to have a heart. After all, Starfleet presents this question no less than three times with Dark King's hencman, Trio, and Fratello. Of course, this means fodder for me to ask.

Another big video game influence is...Final Fantasy. Wich ones? I am going to say VII (the memories) VI (Terra and Kefka) and maybe a little of VIII (Time travel) and X (the idea of stories). I am a huge final fantasy buff and I love watching the stories unfold.

Movies

Can I admit that there is a certain movie that touches my heart more than ET? yep...Short Circuit 2. This movie kind of helps me think about what it means to be alive and what is really a soul. Plus, I just laugh my butt off during the silly moments.

Also, Martial arts films. Wich ones you may wonder? All of them: Last Dragon, Enter the Dragon, Way of the Dragon...

Those are all I can really think of (Death and Return of Superman is the obivous comic one) if there is some more, please ask and I'll probably talk about it.
