    Woah!! What exactly IS Humor?!

It's forming a new positive connection in your brain which once had a negitive or neutral reaction that takes you by surprise, not to be confused with making you afraid.

    And boom, gone.

Deleted the heated blog post at the request of a friend, if you have a sour taste in your mouth after that, I don’t, so you shouldn’t either.

    Anyway, so ponies are cute.

What did you imagine Nopony looked like?

What kind of cardboard box did you put them in?

How did the alleyway look in your head?

Well, I imagined both Nopony and the box smaller, but the alley is pretty close. For some reason I had assumed Nopony was gray, not sure where that came from. Nice to see a good story finally has good, fitting cover art.

I, too, saw Nopony as grey? Perhaps just because it's a very neutral, blend in color?

I also pictured the box just a little larger, enough for Nopony to sit up in.

That cover art looks amazing.

Honestly I'm just glad you're okay :)

Yeah I imagined a bit larger box too - like a refrigerator sized thing. Tho I pictured Nopony as more of a brown. Tho for much the same reason - seemed pretty neutral.

However I pictured it tho, that's some mighty fine art!

It does make me wonder why nobody but Scootaloo picked up the fact that Nopony was Celestia. Still great cover art and kudos to the artist!

Nopony looks way more respectable than I imagined. :)

Oh frick! That cover art is amazing! I LOVE IT! :D

I imagined Nopony as a grey stallion with a dark pink mane, I imagined the box as a cardboard shipping crate (4ft by 8ft), and I imagined the alleyway as about three times the size of the alleyway from the season 2 finale (where Dr. Whooves and Carrot Top were cornered).

I saw Nopony as Celestia with the Groucho Marx mustache and glasses.

For some reason ever since that chapter Nopony peed all over Twilight's books I pictured a different colored Dazzler from Rainbow Dash Presents.

I have difficulties imagining things, so for me, the characters and settings were abstract concepts, devoid of colour and form.

For some reason, I have always pictured Nopony as grey--darker grey mane than coat, but all distinctly grey. I also imagined him as much scruffier, and a little smaller. As for the box, it had stiffer walls and flaps on the top (but it was turned on the side, like in the picture, so the flaps sort of stuck out either side, one was on the ground in front, and one hung down from the top). It was also narrower, so the two ponies had to squish to fit, but it was deep enough that they wouldn't stick out when lying on their stomachs (and tall enough that Nopony's head just barely grazed the ceiling, but again, Nopony was smaller in my estimation). And I pictured the whole alleyway as smaller and darker, but otherwise pretty much the same.

At first I read

and I was like: "No! You can't change the cover art! It's perfect, and it settles perfectly the randomness in the story! YOU CAN'T CHANGE IT!"
Then I actually saw the new cover art, and I was like: "Holy shit this is fuckin' gorgeous I love it."

Everything is exactly how I imagined, save for Nopony. I always pictured him with a very short hobo beard and just more dirty.
All I really miss from the previous cover, though, is how more funny and doozie it looked. This one gives me a much more serious hunch. But maybe it's better this way. At least, the story does have its own cover. A really good one.
