Benchmarks and Future Work · 10:42pm Dec 21st, 2017
In celebration for having 600 crazy po- followers, I released a new story to very weak reception.
Ponies crying, in my fic? It's more likely than you think.
Familiar is a good fic, though, with great art donated by dragon discord.
I also finished working on my Secret Jinglemas fic. This means I'm back to "free to work on stuff" mode, and number one on the list is a long overdue update to Twilight's Secret Journal.
So, after mentioning that and wishing everypony a happy holiday season, I'm left once again wondering about how much I should care about my shabby Patreon account (maybe someday I'll have three patrons!), and I've come up with a little plan. Here's how it will work.
Right now my front burner includes finishing my two in-process stories, a pony video game, a secret literary project, and some song parodies I haven't started yet. I also have a number of other stories in the works, as always. So I figure I'll do a little incentivizing. If/when I hit five patrons, I'll put up a patron poll to see what those five (or more, dare to dream) individuals would like me to focus on most going forward.
Of course I still care what y'all poor ponies here want me to do, and I'll be soliciting feedback whether or not you're a patron. But I'd like a little momentum to hit me someday so I feel like I'm bringing joy to ponies' lives beyond the random few who see me on the feature box and you small cadre of core crazies who actually read my stuff religiously*.
Please don't read TSJ religiously. I don't want a Jim Jones thing to happen to my followers a third time.
I'll bring my own flavor-aid to the party
4755672 I can get us a deal on jumpsuits.
4755672 Yummy.
My church attendance has been low, I am ashamed
I like Kool-Aid!
You're like my favorite author on the site, so you can expect me to stick around awhile. :)
