That’s a good thing.
I’ve had a very hectic schedule, and by hectic I mean emotionally and mentally draining because fuck old people and fuck dementia and fuck families that stubbornly refuse to PUT HIM IN A GODDAMN HOME ALREADY.
Anyhoo, while my family is still playing pass the pawpaw, I’ve finally managed to get time to write.
Yisss.
Buuuut, there’s a problem. There’s always a problem because being happy is for quitters. I’m not a quitter.
The problem comes from the fact that 95.96599% of my “writing” has been in the form of bare-bones outlines, prompts, potential plots both major and sub, snippets of dialogue, scenes I want to write at some point, way too many original characters (I’m turning into that guy), and so many fucking to-do fics. Seriously, holy shit. I don’t know the exact number, but my word total is well over 10k just for shit like that alone.
I have too many things that I want to write. I never thought I would have this problem. Ever. I just start to focus on one thing and oh no where did these other ideas come from I need to write them all down why is it three AM please kill me I just wanted to make a thingy. So yeah, that’s about how two or three days every week go.
Some of you (the dumb ones; you know who you are) might ask yourselves: “who the fuck is this?” or “why is this in my feed?” or “how is it a bad thing to have too many ideas?” The answer to that is fuck you.
I am really struggling to stay on any one project, but I’m trying to make sure that I finish the shit I have before starting new shit. This means you’ll probably see a bunch of Pankus chapters (back to semi-regularity until it’s finished) scattered with a few one shots for a while. Multi-chapter fics are hard, so I’m working on writing up as much as I can before I post any of them.
I might make another post tomorrow to show some of my unnecessarily detailed and overcomplicated lists.
Who the fuck is this? Why is this in my feed? How is it a bad thing to have too many ideas?

If life gets in the way, don't fret about writing. Readers are more patient and understanding than they let on in that respect. If an influx of ideas gets in the way, compartmentalize them and focus on the ideas that interest you the most, even if ninety percent of the time they go nowhere. Ooof, man... I know the problem of having like... to many stories I wanna write but I don't have the time, that or the drive to actually sit down, focus, and then write. So I feel ya pain dude.
I have so many story ideas I wanna do, but like... I start to write some when I do get lucky, but then it dies off halfway in the middle, it's really fucking frustrating. Bah... writing is tough sometimes.

Like, I have like 30 stories unpublished, most that are a chapter, 5 that are like 5-15 chapters because AHHHHHHHHHHHH-

I've been working on the one story for over two years, so I can relate to not having the freedom to work things out. As for your problems, I get that too, people are a freaking tornado of pure anguish. As for having too many ideas... to be honest I have some experience with something similar (I've spent almost entire days doing nothing because I just kept thinking of something to look up and read...
) but all I can say is I hope that it just breaks down and stops happening to you
