So, for those of you who I don't chat with on a regular basis or frequent my various discord groups, you probably didn't see me bouncing around like an eager bunny who got his paws on a case full of Red Bull, a box of Pixie Sticks, and then went and found himself a pogo stick to bounce around on. With that in mind, enjoy a brief moment of reveling.
I did it.
It took me two years, fifty chapters, an interlude, an epilogue (yes, technically 52 chapters, shush!), and a grand total of 258,407 words (give or take a few hundred), but I did it.
The Village Called Respite is officially finished. Hooray.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'mma go flop. I've been doing far too much editing to fix old mistakes in past chapters today.
It's finished? But...but...I don't see a new chapter? Will the pegasus friend from Cloudsdale show up? What will he do when he finds out?! Will there be a sequel? Will it have little baby smugbuglings?!!
These questions are important!!!
Only 9 left? When the chapters go live, I'll be sad to see it go.
Do you plan on doing a sequel or any mini side stories once it's done? Or will that be it for our changelings friends?
Can I write a spin-off with Twilight and the gang finding it years later and try to destroy it because Chrysalis ruined everything for all the Changelings and then everything gets totally fuster-clucked?

Wooo congrats! I'm excited to see how it ends, been following it for awhile and I dare say one of my favorite changeling fics focused on more 'slice of life' kind of stuff.
