So, I'm involved in an Ironclaw game with some friends and it's been a blast. My character is a fairly quiet timid soul so the GM proposed I go chat with one of our NPCs one on one so I could develop her a bit.
So this evening myself and the NPC sequester ourselves at a local tavern for a chat. It's kinda expected by both of us that we'll chat, I'll learn a bit about her backstory and flesh out my own, pretty low key.
Cue me roleplaying so hard I broke the plot and learned a third act twist in the first act.
The sweet dice rolls helped too.
And that's when your character went from the shy one to the detective, using her timid appearance to lull those around into a false sense of security so that they spill their beans. That's pretty awesome.
IT WAS AMAZING.
Wait is that spoiler itself a spoiler?
Hard roleplaying and sweet dice rolls. It's a rare plot that'll so much as stand a chance in the face of those.

What were you playing? DnD? Rogue Trader?

Favorite RPG-character I've played so far: The party's medic, a 15 year old girl who sulks every time she doesn't get her way
I love Ironclaw. Bravo!
