Hey ponies! I just wanted to let you all know that my newest story, Steel Solstice has just been posted. By the time you're reading this, it's probably made it through auto-approval and is ready to read. Check it out here!
This story is a prequel to My Little Apprentice, in the sense that it's in the same universe and takes place before. It will actually have very little connection to that story... if anything, it connects more closely with the Steel Tower stuff we see in Apogee and beyond. Even so, since it's being written as a prequel before any of that happened, anyone should be able to read it without having read those stories, and still make sense of it.
The story actually came through my Patreon. When I got the request to write a story in a universe I already loved and wanted to go back to, well... I was all too eager to comply. So I'm thankful to Two Bit for sponsoring it, and to Zutcha for his usually stellar cover. I feel like each one is cooler than the last.
For those wondering what the story's about, well... consider it a "what really happened" to Equestria Girls in the world of My Little Apprentice. Sunset Shimmer won't find quite the same human world she did in the movie.
