Should i add more to it? · 7:07am Feb 16th, 2017
The latest chapter of It's A Screwed Up Life has been met with a fair bit of negativity, so, should i take it down and only bring it back up once i have a better bit to add to it, so that the chapter is more than just a "i really wanted to fix that plothole" kinda thing, as i've realized i really shouldn't do that to my readers, not when i've done my best to make you enjoy the main story.
If so, it shan't return until i've added something more fitting, so that the previous part will just be a quick eh, whatever moment in a much better chapter, so that it's just a random thing Screwy handles before doing real stuff
Do you want that? let me know
Also, next time screwy deals with deal with the power ponies thing
eeyup
I posted in the chapter after reading it, but mainly it needs a why that happened. Its all fine and good to me that she wants and can alter other universes but a lead up to why shes doing it would be nice. It could be as simple as her visiting her eqg doppleganger and notice that epised was playing in the hospital, get annoyed at the large plot hole and decide to rectify it. For me it would just add com cohearance.
4424594 i kinda agree with this. The chapter does need the "why it happened"
I did enjoy this chapter but I have to agree with the people above me it does feel like we needed an explainationabout what was happening. I would like to see more chapters later like this with Screwball fixing plot holes in other shows/movies.
I'll admit I haven't read the last two chapters. But, I'm behind on reading the stuff in my tracking folder by 55 chapters. And I keep adding to the read it later pile.
So, I haven't read it. Mostly because I've been reading stuff in the read it later bin and in the favorites libraries of other authors on fanfiction.net I still read other fictions than FIM related regardless of how much I prefer the FIM site.
I'm currently reading 'The Dangers of Foresight' after I lost interest in 'A Horse for the Force,' and chances are I will loose interest in Star Wars fictions when I finish reading the politics of lying. For some reason, I believe there's a correlation between the study of a credibility gap between the public and government that enhances the experience of espionage and intrigue found in Star Wars. I'm also just about done looking over the ADVENTURE! D20 supplement book.
Not sure what purpose it served outside of the already established 4 wall breaking powers Screwball possesses.
She just did it. No real justifiable reason given, not even whim.
No Discord sent her to "timeout", no teleporting while tired is hazardous, no sudden desire for authentic European pastries.
She just pops into a Madeline episode and fiat fixes things, then visits the Archaeologist.
Its an event lacking any form of plot vehicle. Its just a thing that happened.
It is a non sequitur chapter.
The monkey likes yellow hats.

I know how curious george died and that he was friends with a giraffe... is this statement more or less sequitor than the actual chapter given the nature of monkeys and yellow hats?
I'm just waiting for my character to return
i wait for other to get work on!
I agree with the guys asking for a lead in. It would make more sense to that segment if we're given a reason why she decided to go and fix the plothole. Visiting her counterpart in the EQG world and seeing the EP on tv and getting annoyed at the obvious plothole would be a great idea to explain it logically.
I also agree that we should see Screwball doing this some more. Maybe point out a plothole in how Cybermen think turning humans into Cybermen is a good thing when it's actually not and why with logic or get say some Daleks to question what the point of exterminating non Daleks even is and how it's destroying their own race slowly whereas Dalek Sec's plan would've saved the entire race with the Doctor backing it 100% cause he actually agreed with it?

I would have gone with purple monkey dishwasher, but George refused to be ignored.
Make screwball hate power ponies it really sucked as an episode (well i might be a bit. basis since spike should go jump off a fucking cliff and die ). and the new chapter was ehh not your best i would say... but still really good. I think people who have never seen the show (like me) don't understand it. It kinda starts out with a scene that i only understood after watching an episode it.
