Regarding Updates (or Lack Thereof) · 2:29am Dec 30th, 2016
As I'm sure many of you have noticed, I haven't updated TVCR in about two weeks. Well, there is a reason for that. A couple, actually. Nothing major though.
The first is that my prereader and I have been rather busy over the holiday. Yes, yes, I updated two other fics, but that was mostly because he speed read that TGN chapter and the DSPB chapter got no prereading/editing. Bite me.
The other is that I've been sick for a while. Wasn't really notable when it started ... er ... I'm gonna say last Wednesday. But it was rather insistent that I pay attention when it put me down for the count on Christmas Day, then again the past two days. So, yeah, that's been fun.
Updates will continue as soon as we can both get out lives in order. And, y'know, when I'm done feeling like I'm about to topple over. Woohoo.
On a somewhat related note, I should say that I find myself a bit torn on Respite. You see, I think I have a rather suitable ending because it ties of Sure Stroke's initial arc, but that would mean I have to put the Enchanter stuff in the sequel story. So, that's one side. It would also bring the chapter count down considerably. On the flipside, I know people get a little squeamish about sequels and things not all being tied off in one story, regardless of whether or not they're overarching for multiple characters and stuff. So, yeah, things to think about.
It's Cuddles's fault. With all the people that despicable changeling hugs, he's sure to have picked up something and gave it to you. Euthanasia is recommended. :p
Hope ya get to feeling better, Zomg. TSP hasn't been forgotten.
I knew there was something wrong!
Oh well; I'd wait forever, cause I have to wait for as long as you say. Feel better!
So..are you ever going to update The Shield's Protector?
I wonder why people are squemish about sequels? It's kind of like a multiple book series. I like it, lets a particular part of the story serve as closure while keeping an overarching plot thread for the next story. I say go for it.
Personally I have no objection to sequels. And I would consider all who do to be stark, raving, totally blinking daft.
Up to you though.
