in this blog i asked whether people REALLY wanted me to write The First Princess of Equestria as a canon side story to Twilight's Twinlight when, after Starlight stops the Rainboom that causes the alternate timelines, Ken wouldn't have had Twilicorn as a body base when he was taken to Equestria.
I think i confused a few people by making it sound like, the story's Ken would stop being an alicorn during the alternate timelines. What i meant is that, in the atlernate timelines, the Ken that wound up in each of those timelines specifically didn't have Twilicorn for a body base. My initial plan was that Ken would end up going back in time with Twi and Spike, solving everything in the end with a more time realistic reasoning for why Starlight turns good thanks to a comment of logic given by DaWillstinator during the Analyst Bronies React to the season 5 finale, meaning in each alternate timeline ken, twi and spike end up in, there is another ken, just like there is another twilight.
This was why i asked if it was really a good idea to make The First Princess of Equestria canon to Twilight's Twinlight. If the ken in each of these alternate timelines didn't have an Alicorn base to go off of, then she wouldn't have being an Alicorn to help her unite the three tribes during the first Hearth's Warming (unless I BS that creating the Tree of Harmony turns her into an Alicorn for whatever reason), meaning, each timeline would've been what Snowfall Frost was shown would happen if she cast her spell that would erase Hearth's Warming, where Equestria is just a frozen waste land (different from the waste land in the final alternate timeline).
So, to make it canon, i'd have to do as suggested and somehow make that the fact Ken is destined to go back in time and become clover makes the timelines immune to this, resulting in a Twilicorn Ken every time.
So, is that what you all would like or do i go the route of totally different human ending up as Twilicorn in the past? It's really your choice guys, as i've honestly no idea which i wanna go with.
And yes, i'm sorry to any who are getting bored with pretty much the same question, but these details were what i forgot to put in before and they are crucial. It is the alternate timeline Kens i'm talking about not having Twilicorn as a base, not the ken Twilight's Twinlight focuses on.

No I think it would be great as part of this story not a side story
I'd prefer Ken be Clover, but I'm fine either way.
i vote yes to the side story, you could do it like MLP: the story retold.
it's a good story. another example of time travel handled well is An Extended Vacation.
and i vote ken is best princess, because starting a country from scratch is a monumental task. especially with people that dislike each other as citizens

I mentioned the same thing in his last blog post, he can add it as part of his twinlight story as a cannon side adventure just like MLP retold did, worked well for that story, and Dexter's Lab in Equestria.
The common thing explained what makes alicorns is generally op please nerf magic + stopping massive catastrophic events, so ken making the Tree of Harmony could easily have made her an alicorn. And by this example flurry heart is not an alicron but a deamon! Tia and Lulu both said they were not born alicorns, they became alicorns presumably after using the elements from the TREE to defeat Discord.
I would say regardless of wether or not Ken is an Alicorn or Earth pony, his Destiny to become Starswirl's student is a fixed point in time that can't be altered simply because it's his destiny. Think about it, if Ken doesn't go back in time to become Clover the Clever, then the time spell that Starlight uses would never exist, thus the whole Rainboom time paradox would never happen in the first place - including the Tree of Harmony being created. Thus, the universe would collapse into itself and BOOM, the story ceases to exist.
If you can't figure out how to write it realistically, then one of two things you would have to do is alter Ken's arrival in Equestria AFTER the Time Paradox event. Which means rewriting Twilight's Twinlight to follow events after Starlight befriends Twilight and such or write in another human becoming Clover.
I have this theory about time travel, but unfortunately I don't know how to explain it without making your or my brain explode - so these are all I have atm.
