I dopped the ball there, didn't I? · 4:23am Aug 1st, 2016
Well, I know I said I'd get the chapter done by the end of the month, and... I didn't.
I could toss out excuses, but really, it's just down to me simply failing to stick to anything resembling a schedule. Still, I do have it finished, and -- if I can get some help with editing -- I should be able to get the chapter up by the end of the week. So... any takers? And, again, I'm sorry for my failure.
Hey, don't beat yourself up about it. Everyone messes up at times, and I'll admit I've never been particularly good about schedules.
Also, I'd be interested in editing-just shoot me a pm. I'll admit I haven't edited too many other people's work, but those I have were generally happy with my edits.
I'm just as interesting in editing as always. Which is very.
Don't worry to be honest i forget what time was since manager training kinda ate up my july
Hey, dont ya worry. We all feel you there. Hell, if it weren´t for my co-author and our assload of pre written chapters, my own story would update at the same pace as a crippled snail in a salt store.^^
Oh don't worry, I totally forgot about the existence of this story, no harm done.
Hey, you didn't kick any puppies or mug any grandmothers. No harm done. (And even if some of your characters did, you didn't.) I'll be happy to take a look at the chapter.
No problem, I still have to read it. ^^
I've got too much time on my hands, and am always available to do a bit of editing!
Some fics just don't want to gef written I have way easier time
roleplaying Firefly and Gusty that writing a story with the two of them.
Maybe I should just skip the "How they meet"chapter and just write a ahoet adventure with the two of them?
Yo
Let me think about the last time I actually completed something when I meant to... Carry the one, add the two, divide by three then take that and cube it... nope still can't figure it out. So dude you're perfectly fine, the fact that you feel bad about something as simple as this says that you at least care about trying to keep to a schedule.
Allow me to quote a famous and beloved doctor:
"Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind."
As the offspring of a doctor, I prescribe not-giving-yourself-a-time-limit-atol, taken when needed, mentally. You owe me a grand total of stop-beating-yourself-up-and-we'll-wait-for-the-final-product-patiently bits.
I'll send you the bill later.
Or not.
