RIP And Hiatus. · 3:27am Mar 16th, 2016
Okay... so for a while now, my laptop has been balanced on the verge of life and death.
Yesterday, it tipped and my compy is no more. On top of losing months worth of data, including several dozen peices of writing, music and other downloaded things. I have also lost my only relaible source of internet access.
Writing on a tablet is incredibally infuriating...
So for the time being, I'll be taking an indefinate Hiatus. I really am sorry for this, but I barely earn enough money to support my living expenses, let along a new machine.
So, I'll see you when I see you.

Here's hoping things get better for you sug. Save the HDD from your computer. That way if you're able to get a new system you at least still have your data.
you can always throw a new HDD in a do a clean install.
that depends on the reason for death.
I can say from my past it is super hard to fully kill a lap top.
the problem I am finding for most lap tops is the internal temps it kills the HDD my new one has a Solid-state drive and seams to run much colder.
Have you thought about setting up something like a Patreon or a Gofundme?
I think you'd be surprised at the generosity of the community sometimes, especially a respected fanfic writer like yourself.

That said, I do understand you feeling bad about getting money for fanfic writing.
Fanfic writing isn't normally what people consider a "job", and getting paid for it would probably feel weird.
I understand how typing on a tablet can suck like 99% of the time. The solution? Snag a bluetooth keyboard that can work with a tablet. It might not solve every problem, but it makes typing on a tablet so much easier.

No but in all seriousness, I'm sorry about your computer. Your stuff is great, the world is better off for you having written it, yada yada yada...all the words in the world don't help you get a new computer. I'd help you if I could.

Yeah, definitely save the hard drive if possible, don't toss it whatever you do!

Its just an idea. And it does not have to be permanent, but some people want to help you with your current situation it seems like.
