For anyone who is not aware of Level Dasher, I'm sorry you didn't meet the amazing and charismatic young man. He'd been here for 10 years and gone through so much. Including two heart transplants...Only to be taken early this morning by the bitch Cancer.

    My friend is gone...

Today I learned that my dear friend Mythy or as you would know him TheMyth has passed beyond our world... I don't really know what to say... I wasn't expecting this...Not at all and I have spent much of the last hour or so since learning in tears... He was a dear beloved friend and I am devastated that I won't hear any more of his

Mom is in the hospital · 12:33am Feb 17th, 2016

So now that i'm awake I can explain a bit better.

At 2Am last night my husbad heard my mom make a weird noise so I went to check on her and say goodnight. She was bright red and covered in sweat. I could not get her to wake up I called out Mama as loud as I could smacked her arm even slapped her cheek a few times. We tried to get her awake enough to drink juice but she started to choke so I checked her blood sugar.

It was 27.

I called 911 and an ambulance was sent asap but with the weird breathing the opperator was hearing from mama she said I needed to start CPR. Doing CPR on my Mama was the scariest thing. Every few moments she'd open her eyes but... it was like she couldn't see me.

*shivers*

So the paramedics arrived and we got her alert enough to drink some juice. But even after three juices she was still very out of it so the paramedics decided she needed to get checked out. Marc and I expecting a few hours in the ER at most put her electric wheel chair on the back on the van and followed the ambulance.

I saw the lights flash on once on the road. I found out why when we got to the hospital. When Marc and I were allowed to go into her room in the ER I saw she was on oxygen. Mom had had a really bad asthma attack on the trip up.

Doctor came in and checked Mom and the first words out of his mouth was Congestive heart Failure.

So here I am at home waiting to find out if the enzymes they found which indicate a wounded heart is heart failure. Or my having bruised it during CPR.

I've never hoped more in my life that I broke my Mama's heart.

I love you Mama, Please be okay...

Wow... I'm here if you need someone to talk to

Oh shit.

You have friends to talk to if needed.

holy crap........ *hug*

Hugs, Foal. Hope she ends up okay

Damn, hope she pulls though

Speaking as a nurse, I highly doubt that your efforts of CPR is what released the enzymes that indicated CHF. If you were pushing hard enough to damage the heart, there would have been a lot of rib and lung damage as well. And i sincereky doubt you could have been giving enough force to damage the heart, it is well protected and ruled out that you cant damage it with CPR.

With congestive heart failure, blood backs up in either the body, resulting in puffiness (edema), or in the lungs causing respiratory complications. Or both. Diabetes is a cause of chf. So if your mom is diabetic ( I am assuming she is) then there is the link.

Hugs, hugs and prayers.

Hypoglycemic? My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your mom!

Sorry to hear that hope ahe feels beatter

Many hugs to you and your family, Foal. I will keep your mom in my prayers, and that goes for the rest of your family, too.

And I know what you're going through. We lost our mom back in November of 2012 to pretty much the same thing. (She had a history of heart trouble before that, though.)

When she finally went, though, it was in her sleep at home, with us. She went peacefully.

Take care, and many hugs to you, my friend.

 *hugs* Sending love and lots of hugs your way.

Hope she's okay. You too.

I'll be praying for you guys.

*Hugs* I'm so sorry to hear that. My step dad has a really bad heart condition himself.:pinkiesad2: I hope your mom feels better.

I am sorry. :fluttercry:

I am here if you need someone to talk to. :fluttershysad:

So sorry that you're going through this. My grandfather died back in 2010 from congestive heart failure, and from what I remember, he died less than 48 hours after being diagnosed.

I really hope your mom pulls through. I know you've gone through a lot lately.

You and your family are in my prayers. I hope everything works out ok

Yikes. That's pretty scary. I hope everything works out well for you and your mother in the end.

Geez. I can't imagine what it must have been like to be in the middle of that. All the best to you and your mom.

i don't even know what to say...:ajsleepy:

*sheds a few tears in the darkness*
I can only hope for the best:pinkiesad2:

Sorry to hear that, hope she's okay.

I hope she'll get better.

I've never hoped more in my life that I broke my Mama's heart.

Well, it seems that this crisis has in no way reduced your writing skills, as this line was a bit tearjerker.

Said a prayer for you.
