Well!

I got my score back on my exploratory essay. 99/100. Pretty good for all the effort I put into that damn thing. Next comes the research paper. I need to ask my teacher how I'm supposed to form a thesis for it. I couldn't reach any really decisive conclusions by the end of that paper, so I don't know where to take my research paper, basically. I have an oral presentation Monday and am waiting for my Rarity plushie to arrive in mail.

The prob/stat test on Thursday was dreadful. The sample exam bore few similarities in difficulty to the test we got. The teacher gives us a chance to drop one of the first three exams we take in the semester. I wasn't thinking I'd need it for the second one! If I get a passing grade on that thing, I'll mark myself blessed. That was devastating. I knew the material, but the problems were too difficult to solve in the time frame. I'm trying to forget about it.

I tried to record for my next audio reading today but couldn't. I worked on prob/stat homework problems I had been putting off to prepare for the test, and my brain was fried by the time I got around to it. I wanted to just do it, but I kept making mistakes. I also didn't have access to the same quiet space that I had before, but I couldn't make do; people kept entering the room I chose and made noise. I'm going to try again tomorrow. I imagine I will be less frustrated then, too. I'm trying to take deep breaths and shrug it off, but I keep getting these sucker punches with boons on the side along the way. I don't know what to make of them, truly.
