Greetings tiny horse enthusiasts! King of Beggars here with the regretful news!
I had hoped to have new TwiGuard out this weekend, but a family emergency came up and things got a little wobbly. Long story short, I had houseguests. That said, new TwiGuard is nearly done anyway, so consider this a warning that something is coming for you guys to read in the next few days. How much of a something is a surprise.
To whet the whistles a bit: There's good news for those of you who've been wanting more slice of life stuff for the story. We're getting closer to the final confrontation of this arc, so things are slowing down just a little. There's still going to be some short time-hops, but the next several chapters will focus more on Twilight and her friends coming together and trying to relax. This may or may not involve cocoa, sexy showers, and lemonade. There will also be a chapter or two from a perspective other than Twilight's.
An additional bit of news: Last year I did a series of Halloween stories as a Spooktacular event. Didn't play so well, but I'm considering doing it again this year anyway because I love writing horror comedies. Though I might end up just doing a nice big oneshot and releasing it on Halloween Eve. So here's a question, who's interested in seeing me do something funny/spooky again this year? What do you think? Should I do a nice oneshot with a good bit of girth to it? And if you didn't check it out, you should go read my Spooktacular from last year. Weeks 2 and 4 were my favorites, but week 3 has its fans.

Though I'll put out this idea. Fun silly crossover between Monster High and MLP. both Hasbro properties after all.
Monster's come though the mirror on Nightmare Night because Spike stuck a horror book in the Equestrian portal for decoration, opening a link to the Monster High transport/time travel, portal.
Monster girls come through and get ponified, blend into the crowd on Nightmare Night. Spike is the only one who knows they are the real McCoy and goes nuts trying to convince everypony of the dire peril they are in.
Sorry. My frustrated Muse. I started such a fic last halloween and only got the introduction done.
Awesome, i loved the spooktacular last year. I'd be all for anything similar to that!
I think I'll have to go read last year's spooktacular before I can weigh in.
I'm feeling horror one shot over anthology. Really let those juices explode all over the face of a single story.
