Things are much less frenetic now that classes have started, but I'm still worrying about various things. I really wish I had more time to update this journal. I would totally include things like excerpts from my email conversations with my grandmother. My phone is basically unusable until I receive my phone charger in the mail, as we failed to pack it, so I can't talk to her much. I do have some people to talk about these issues that come about. Sometimes I need answers, but often I just feel I need to figuratively spill my guts out (it would be hard to talk about things if I was puking).

It's not a lonely sort of feeling, although there is a sense of isolation I feel; I just feel very small and amateurish with many issues that may or may not resolve according to how I would like to dictate them. I suppose that's a feeling of powerlessness, I guess.

I don't meet up with many people at lunch, and the noise my roommates make forces me to the Jefferson Center, a quieter building below an on-campus gymnasium with a computer lab, an office for student veterans, and a few very clean restrooms. When there aren't people stopping by just to talk on their phone inside here and there are no people dropping their weights in the gym, it's very peaceful. I might possibly be able to do readings here, but the work and extracurriculars are starting to come in to play now, so that may be some time.

Ugh! I have so much I could write about and already have written about to my grandma. I just don't have the time at the moment to do that. I gotta check my post box and visit the technology center to pick up a free ethernet cord. If any of you has a question for me to field, feel free. I feel like I might be able to manage those on a better schedule than these blog posts.
