Line lost in the import of #7 · 10:32am Aug 7th, 2015

“It’s because I’m blue, isn’t it?” Nemo said with mock seriousness even if the tugging of her lips fooled nobody, before straightening up. Almost looking me in the eye even. “Seriously, Harry, how are you doing?”

I was actually taken back a bit with the sincere concern in Nemo's voice. I just… hadn’t expected it.

Nemo had to take a deep breath before continuing, her grip tightening a bit on my shoulder.

I must have hit delete on accident at just the wrong time or something during the last edit, becuse the line was just gone from the last source file itself. So for once it wasn't Fimfic's import function.

Not sure what happened, but now you know. :unsuresweetie:

Also, amazing cover art. I love any of the art done by that artist.

Ah. So that's what was. Good that it was a silly little fix.

Edit: question moved to story proper.

Could you please repeat that question under the story proper?

Don't want to sound petty, but if things 'smear out' into blog posts and stuff, it makes it harder to keep track of what I've answered and not for both me and other readers.

I don't actually mind at least partially answering that particular one based on what's been shown so far, but I'd like to keep things semi on-topic.

Thanks, I was wondering about that. I know I mentioned this in my comment on the story, but I think you also accidentally deleated a paragraph in the whole choas magic reveal. Luna goes from being pissed to thoughtful in a paragraph for no reason. If I was to guess, I 'd say it was an explenation of magical sensing, using an apple as an example, as he has Carlos toss one to Luna, then goes nowhere with it.

Yeah, It definately belonged there anyways didn't it.
Thanks.

3303090 I was wondering what the deal with that apple was!

Actually, that bit was me goofing. The step of Luna fighting down the worst of her anger for the sake of getting more info was so obvious to me, that I actually forgot to write it out. Oops.

Sadly woke with a rather decent headache today, but I'll add something later.

The apple was indeed meant to be a 'its really real fire' prop, but Dresden got annoyed and skipped ahead to the reveal instead. Bit between the lines, but I must admit I don't consider it that important to outright spell out.

3303993 Ok, sorry about the headache, and thanks for the explanation! I was more wondering about the magical senses line, though. I think he says "those magical senses are vital to using magic" or something like it, which implies we already know what those senses are. Maybe I'm being nit-picky, but if you have the time, could you throw something in about them?

Thanks. No biggie, my bedroom just gets too hot sometimes during the summer, but thanks for the kind words.

Keep in mind, though, Harry is talking with somepony she hopes might be talked out of acting the way she is, but Luna is still an enemy at the moment.

So bit of a thin line between giving enough actual info for it to actually mean something, and too much so that its dangerous.

It's going to get a bit more through an explanation/screen-time later, however. Consider the intro to the Sight in this chapter more of a cliff-notes than a thorough examination.

3304218 Cool, I look forward to it. Hope you feel better soon, too!:pinkiehappy:

I know I'm asking about it alot, but in all seriousness, do you need/have room for another pre-reader/editor? I'M BORED AS HELL, AND YOUR WRITING IS SOOOOO GOOD! I think I've re-read Dark Horse eight times now! Please respond, and feel free to PM me. I'm on Pacific coast time, by the way.
