Memoirs Cameo Call Update · 6:19pm Apr 6th, 2015
Hello everyone, I hope you had a good weekend! I wanted to do an update to the Cameo Call because we are having quite the turnout. There is some information I want to get out and there are likely actions that you'll need to take.
First, the end date is now 8 April 2015 at around 20:00 Eastern. No new applications and/or corrections will be accepted after this time. They will be rolled over into the next cameo call.
Second, I've done some internet magic to pull all the data off the site and put it into a semi-usable form. Unfortunately some folks had line breaks and such and/or didn't copy the form as requested. This has led to some weird data. I'm sure I've also made mistakes in trying to format it into a usable form.
To amend this I've put together a Google document form as an additional option to enter. If you are inclined you may fill it out even if you've already posted. You don't have to though! Your comment entry is still good provided you entered properly. To that end...
To ensure you are properly entered please do the following EXACTLY as I explain.
1. Look at your data on the Google Document: Click me! Click Me!
2. Validate that you have data in EVERY field other than visual reference. If something is missing make a note of that (but keep reading).
3a. Validate that the data is CORRECT. If it is correct and every field is complete you're done.
3b. If data is incorrect please copy the entire form exactly as it is below, paste it into a response to this blog, and fill in ONLY the field with incorrect data. Leave the rest blank. Alternatively, just fill out the Google document form above.

My OC's personality is: He never lies to mares(a weird principle he developed). He always goes by the logic and thinks logically(which often leads him to overthinking things). Always(literally) sees two sides of a coin which sometimes makes it difficult for him to clearly state his opinion on a matter. Unless it's straight buissnes he has troubles talking to mares(he's very shy around them). On the other hand he easily makes friends with stallions. My OC's personality is: Everstorm is a pegasus who is very focused, both on her daughter and her job. She is serious, though does know how to have a laugh, especially with her daughter. She is extremely accepting of other views, though will butt heads if somepony’s view cannot be reconciled with her own. She is driven, assertive, and cold at times, but loving to her daughter. She is completely professional when dealing with patients however, and nothing will interfere with that, no matter the views her patient might hold, a patient is a patient, and is treated as such.

2953315 Honestly the data I asked for is all I'm going to use. The OCs are going to be molded to fit the story, not the other way around. Everyone has written some pretty awesome stuff but there is no way I'll be able to accommodate all of it.

My OC's personality is: She's usually energetic, hardworking, and willing to help others. She's also very patient, understanding, and can be a bit mothering if you don't tell her to back off. However, she is also, unfortunately, a people pleaser and will do just about anything for others. She can also be slightly manipulative if she doesn't get her way. She also has a weird tendency to talk to the plants and sky when she thinks no one is listening.

My OC's personality is: Harsh, unyielding, but carrying. Greyson was born in the northernmost province of Equestria called Canida. He first decided he wanted to join the Equestrian military in his teen years. His brother was killed serving in the peacekeeping mission that Silent Knight's father served in at that time. As his brothers coffin was lowered and he was handed the Equestrian flag, he swore that he would let no other Equestrian suffer as he had. His brothers body wasn't able to be recovered and they had to bury an empty coffin. In Canida, it is believed that a body must be put to rest properly, or else the soldiers soul will be forever damned to wander the earth, searching for peace. Since that day Greyson has devoted his life to serving in the Equestrian military. A few weeks after training he saw action. A hostile pack of Diamond Dogs were harassing a nearby ore mine. Greyson's platoon was tasked with driving them out. It was a massacre. The confined spaces, combined with the Dog's natural affinity for tunnels felled many soldiers. Eventually, they were forced to clear the mine as it became unstable and collapsed. Almost half of his platoon was left in the mine when it collapsed. When they were finally able to clear the rubble three days later and send in some soldiers to recover the bodies, they found that the Diamond Dogs had eaten their corpses. Greyson never lost the feeling of guilt he gained then. It was there and then he swore to never again leave behind the body of a comrade without giving it the rights of rest.
In the fighting Greyson gain a number of scars, one leading from under his left eye down to his jaw line, and another underneath his lip, scything off to the left.
The Rights of Rest in a battle field funeral involve burying the body, if time and the situation allows, and then laying the Equestrian flag over the grave or body, saying words of rest/prayers, and then folding the Equestrian flag. Greyson, to this day, still carries the flag given to him at his brothers funeral. It is the flag he uses to lay a comrade to rest in the field and always keeps it on his person. Letting another person hold that flag is the greatest form of trust he can give another person, it's not exaggeration when I say that he would sooner cut of multiple body parts before parting with that flag. If a comrade falls in battle, Greyson will sooner die than let the body be lost. At the time of Memoirs Greyson is around his mid thirties in age. In short, he's the guy who will yell directly in your ear during drill, but he's also the guy who'd be the first to jump into a burning building to carry you away from the flames.
