Triple Update with some Additional Good News · 7:01am Jan 31st, 2015
Looks like I forgot to tag my blog post to the story, so I'm re-posting my last blog, with some updates.
Basically, I got the next chapter (22) done and finished and sent to editors. They have yet to get back, but I'm hopeful. However, I'm not publishing the chapter yet even when it gets corrected.
Why? Because I'm doing another triple update for the following reasons that I stated in my last blog:
1. I can make sure that the entire arc is all ready before I publish it. As I mentioned, we're moving into endgame and I do not want to make a plot mistake now. No, this is not the final arc. You'll know that one when you see it, but it's still incredibly important.
2. Chapter 22 ends with a rather ugly cliffhanger. I could publish it along with 23, but that one ALSO has another cliffhanger. So I need to write chapter 24, whereupon the cliffhangers for that arc end.
Thankfully, chapter 23 is proving relatively simple to write except for one small problem, but I can deal with it.
Interestingly enough though, I have been hit with an inspiration bug for the last two days. I've gotten half of chapter 23 done despite that small problem, and a critical scene and lots of dialogue done for 24. I'd actually say I'm more than 1/2 done with this arc including chapter 22. Which is very nice, and I'm extremely happy because this arc has some things I've been planning, and wanting to get published since I started this story.
Now as the Japanese say it. Ganbatte! Heeere we go. Post me epic or nice soundtrack or instrumental music if you want me to write faster.
