So I decided to try my hand at writing. If you can even call it writing. Write a paragraph...scrap it. Write 2 paragraphs...scrap them. Go back to the previous paragraph....scrap it for the latter 2, scrap both for starting the story at an entirely different spot. To make it even more tedious my inner editor kicks in and I spend 30 minutes reading about the different uses of em dashes in the Bedford Handbook. So yeah writing is hard.
I usually keep my story ideas, occasionally telling bats. However, he stopped writing my ideas and my butt hurts a little from it, so I'm just gonna put them here in hopes that sorta solidify and possibly make me write stuffs.
Idea #1: Three Simple Words - This is the one I've been staring blankly at working on the most. It's suppose to be a different take, and in my opinion a more realistic take on that certain turning point in a relationship. This was supposed be a one shot but the more I stare blankly at the screen I realize I'm gonna need more to than that to pull it off believably.
Idea #2: Something...fillies - Yes. Yes, that is the working title. I got tired of all the dead filly Dash stories so I came up with my own...it's awful.
#3: SweetieDash(aged-up) - Like seriously, unless the CMC are banging their own siblings--or Big Mac--they are paired with no one else. Why? Cause I'll be the first mother fucker on FimF to write that shit. And if you're not first you're last. I have 'a' scene in mind, but just one. Oh and a comedy one
#4 Sky Pirates - Not the actual title but w/e. RD and the CMC in a steam punk/magiteck-ish setting....It sounds awful when you think about it...w/e.
Not really an idea, but kinda is #5 : The A-Team - Basically mane 6 go to jail for some arbitrary reason, break out, solve "friendship" problems for money. Also guns and helicopters and EXPLOSIONS?. Pinkie is Murdock and I pity the fool who don't like apples.
I think that's it...maybe.

OH OH I wanna talk about the update and be cool like everyone else. So I now have the ability to do a filtered search on a specific users stories, and yet I can't do that for a group....Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, that's literally the only thing I wanted. So now I have to just be content with 'Libraries,' because people favorite way too many stories. If you favorite every fucking thing that has words, the many of "Favorite" kinda has diminishing returns. And tracking is back so shut up. Oh well, it lets me be passive-aggressive and make a dead fic library.
Sometimes I wonder if the people that read these think that I think I have some sort of fan base. I don't. Half my followers are trolls/follow everyone. The rest are just being nice, 1-2 think I'm funny for some reason and all the others are here cause I yelled at someone.
To each their own I guess.

And these look like some cool ideas. I've been on the receiving end of people nagging me to write stuff before, and I'd be happy to channel all that on you to get your writing in gear

You assume my stuff will be readable. I do have this one idea where Dash gets stuck in a storm and then has to stay at Twi's and then her wings fall off for some reason, and then Twi goes blind and Dash has to read to her and then they go share milkshakes and then they go home and do some cunnilingus and then in the morning they have coffee and then winbow dush gives Twighlight a feather and then they go on a stay-cation even though they're both handicapped now and can't work. and then dash goes blind...t3h 3nd

Sounds to me like you're being overly critical of your writing abilities, like the vast majority of anyone who tries to write 'round here.

Procrastination will lead you to do the weirdest stuff, including rummaging through the hundreds of stories in the TwiDash group to search out the origin of tropes. Double Wingboner, that makes a bit more sense, and I debated mentioning "Twighlight" was bats' doing from one of his earlier fics, I just wasn't sure if it was Rainbow Rambles or an early chapter of Coming Back.
