Seeking more proofreaders and editors. · 3:43pm Sep 22nd, 2014
So I realized I've been relying on DK proofreading my works for a while, and I feel like I've given him a lot to work with every time I send a draft of the new chapter. Plus he can only do so much to let me know what mistakes I've made in the draft that I have to look for myself.
With that in mind, I'd like to ask if anyone here would like to be a proofreader or editor for TMS, and possibly more stories in the future. If you're interested, please leave your experience with being a proofreader and/or editor in the comments, and I'll PM you so we can discuss how we can do this, and see if it works out. I'm looking forward to meeting and working with new people from the site, and hope that we can have some fun while doing it as well.
This is Dudeler, signing off.
Well, if you like. I'm more than happy to give a bit of help on some proof reading. Though I'd recommend more than just me.
I've never tried being a proofreader before... I can try it out (English is not my main language but I have studied English for 10 years, so that shouldn't be a problem...) I am an active member here so as long as I'm not buried in homework or sleeping I can probably check for misstates, and other things if you want to... Is there anything else you want to know? Edit: If you at some point would need poems (I'm pretty sure you wont) I could write that, I have a few in my blog posts and I will make them rhyme.

Dear Dudler.
Looking to lighten the load of your sla-editor eh, well I'd be happy to throw my hat into the ring, anything to help myself get a sneak peek before everyone els help you in the improvement of your story. But if my mind blowing good charm and stunningly good wit isn't good enough. I have had help editing two stories prior to this one (Both form the Secret Agent Big Macintosh series from Insula Sol) and I've been working on my own story as well.
Good luck on your editor hunt, Sincerely Yours, The Cake Devil.
I'd be happy to give it a shot. I'm good with grammar and all that, so I can mark any mistakes and give feedback if you'd like.
Love this story, so I'll jump at the offer to proofread. I'm currently proofreading two stories, I Against I, Me Against You, and Human Crazed Mares. If you already have enough, though, then that's fine.
it would be the first time for me on here as a proofreader and or editor and there are many who are more qualified at it then me but if you need the help I'm more then happy to lend a hand good sir
It would also be my first time as a proofreader/editor, but I am very sure in my grasp of English grammar. If you want a sample of my work, my story Storms of War has been done only by me with no editor or proofreader. I would be more than happy to help you out.
If you want, I'm willing to proofread your stories.

I'm game for being a proof reader
Id be willing to give it a shot, plus I don't plan I writing anything soon (sadly) So sure, ill be a proofreader
FWIW I'll add my name to the list. No serious editorial or proofreading experience but I'm one of the older fans here (ie: over 40) and a voracious reader so I think I have that experience plus a sharp eye for errors which should come in handy.
I have actually found some bits and pieces that could be considered mistakes or errors in TMS that I probably should have mentioned as I finished each chapter but I was too tired to mention them (usually read late in my evenings). If you want I can go back, find them again and PM you where they are so you can decide if they aren't intentional and actually are mistakes that slipped by.
