I Fear for ToixStory's Life: This is JustAnotherTimeLord · 3:44am Aug 26th, 2014
Many of the older followers of our favourite little author here will remember that I was given the password to Toix's account a while back so that I could write up a post that would start her eventually cancellation of all stories and a fairly better, non-stressful life. It truly did work, but . . . it also didn't.
Yesterday, at around this time, I received a text from Toix saying that something had happened. Something major had happened to her life (which I won't say here because it is private), and she doesn't know what to do. She was angry, sad, confused, alone, and a plethora of other feelings all bottled up inside. I spent hours upon hours talking to her, but the verdict never changed.
She had finally decided that there was no way out of the hole she said she was in, and therefore she was going to kill herself. She asked me for the suicide hotline number, but she said she was too anxious to call it. And unfortunately, while I was talking to her, her situation became worse. Far worse.
After her first phone died, she started to text me on a phone that I didn't know she had. We continued to talk, but the texts progressively became more and more distant. It took longer for her to reply to me, and that is when I started to freak out. The last text I received from her was 23 hours ago, and it was her saying she was "okay."
After that, I've been texting her non-stop on both phones, and I have yet to receive a reply. I decided it was time to call her, and . . . I was met with very disconcerting results.
The original number that I had from Toix went straight to voice mail, meaning that her saying the phone was dead was a true story. I never doubted her, but still. However, the second number has been shut off and is no longer taking calls.
And . . . I'm frightened. I'm scared. I'm so very scared for her life right now, and I have no idea what to do. I've been checking the news for suicides, and I've checked the Texas obituary in case she had showed up on there.
I'm trying to not jump the gun on this, but things are frighteningly adding up. I'm becoming more and more certain that she may have ended her life. And . . .
I'm just so scared. I've never felt so scared in my life. I just thought that I should notify you all of the situation because this is very real, and as I said, I have no idea what to do. So please, if you are of faith, keep her in your prayers. If you are not, keep her in your thoughts. That's all that we can do right now.
I hope that this blog ends up becoming useless. I only made this because I'd rather notify people of the possibility so that if something does come up, it'll be easier to take once it does, whether it be good or bad.
That's all I have. I'll keep you all updated on the situation as things progress. If I hear from her, then I'll say something. If I hear of her, then . . .

Oh dear Lord... I'm so sorry for the both of you. First, have some internet hugs.
Second, do you know who Toix actually is, or where she generally lives? Like a city or town? Even if you don't have much to go on, I'd call the local authorities if you can. It's a shot in the dark, but it might payoff.

I do know where she lives, but she isn't living there any longer. She is living in an apartment somewhere. She never told me where. All I know is that it's in an area around Arlington University, and . . . that's a very, very wide range.

You read the text and stories on this site and see all the anonymous, impersonal bits and bytes on the pages, then something like this hammers home the reality that there is a living, breathing person half a world away at the other end of the post...
I think it was a very smart move, her giving you the password.

Agreed. Call the authorities immediately. If I was in the area I'd go out and join them in looking, but I'm too far away to help in such a capacity. All I can do is advise and pray.

I am certain that things'll turn out okay. Toix has been through the bad times before, and things may look bleak, but the night is always the darkest before the sunrise.
