Okay, so I hadn't planned on making this blog post for at least another chappie or two, but one of my readers pointed out that a mistake I made the other day may have knocked the alert for my new story off the radar. So, here I am telling you guys that Twilight's Shipping Goggles, my new story is up and two chappies strong. I'm sure you can guess the premise just from the title, but just in case, here's a copypasta of the description.
Have you ever picked up certain habits or traits from your friends or family? Well, it seems that I was not unaffected by all the years I spent around Cadance. But of all things, why did it have to be her Shipping Goggles that rubbed off? Moreover, how do you turn them off?
This blog post is not just to announce my new story, but also to alert you to the audience participation portion of the story. I was given the idea for this from Fusion Fool the 3rd's story, Twilight's Misadventures. As you can tell, this is a story about ships. Lots, and lots of ships. The more, the merrier, and more importantly, the crackier, the better. Here's where y'all come in. I want to hear what ships you want to see. There are some ground rules, however, and I'll go into those now.
SHIP SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1. No Twilight ships. I have plans for her, and they do involve putting her into a ship, but I want hers to be a surprise.
2. No ships between the mane6. No Rarijack, no FlutterDash, etc. Plenty of those out there, if that's what you want.
3. The more unusual, the better. OctaScratch and LyraBon are all fine and good, but like pairings between the mane6, you can already find plenty of those. Let's get creative, people. However, let's at least keep it within the realm of possibility, which brings me to my next two rules:
4. Characters within the show that actually exist. Sorry folks, but the Mane-iac is right out.
5. No pony/pets or pony/inanimate objects. Do I even need to say why?
6. Hetero relation ships are fine, too. This may surprise some of you, but I am not averse to writing hetero relationships. I just like writing yuri, so that's where I tend to go.
7. No male/male. Yes, it's hypocritical since I'm fine with yuri, but that's just how I roll when it comes to writing. I have nothing against it, but I just don't want to write it. Sorry, folks.
8. Herds will be considered, but don't expect them. I don't want to become one of those writers stuck writing only one genre (or subgenre).
9. Place all suggestions on this blog post, not on the story. I want to keep that purely for comments on the story itself.

You're like the second to ask for Mac/Flower Girls. Silver Belle sounds promising though, and I do like the setup you have for Thunderlane/Dash. Cloud Kicker/everypony has been done, I'm afraid. I wouldn't dream of touching that one for fear of the comparisons/criticism/death threats.

Bulk Biceps X Maud Pie. On the surface opposites loud vs. quiet but they both have being "socially non-standard," in common and great passion for their cutie mark pursuits. Also Bulk is one of the few stallions Maud wouldn't accidentally break like a twig.

That's because Mac x Flower Fillies is a great idea and there's so many ways you can take it; they're already a trio but looking for a stallion for all 3; my idea of bitter rivals; two love Mac & fight for him, the third loves the other two but can't get noticed; there's plenty of great ideas for how it could go down.
As for Kicky, I mostly just envisioned a quick thing of Twi just overloading when she sees CK in a crowd and she's kicking out signals to literally everypony around her.
Blues was the original fan-given name of Noteworthy before they finally gave him an official name in the blind bags.

Also, you could ship Princess Celestia and Gilda. It would be difficult but I read one story long ago where Celestia just watched and admired Gilda from afar and it made me sad that she never made a romantic move.
