Alright, I'm sure this comes as no surprise, but Merasmus' chapter is coming up. I'm sure this also comes as no surprise, but it's also the "Fluttershy's First Halloween" chapter, much like we just had her first Christmas. Now here's the problem that occurs.
I have ten characters to put in costumes for Halloween. So far...I've come up with four costumes.
So I turn to my readers for suggestions. What costumes should the mercs be wearing for Halloween?
These are the ones I need:
Scout
Heavy
Demoman
Sniper
Spy
Pyro
When I get ready to write this chapter, I will look over the suggestions, and pick the ones I like best. If I choose yours, you will be credited for your suggestion in the author's note of the chapter.
Edit: An important note. As stated in the last chapter, this story just reached 1972 in the timeline (the ATARI is cutting edge), so only suggest characters that came out before then.
If you wanna a suggestion, what if they use a custom of another of their team? Heavy could take a custom of Spy, Scout as Pyro, etc.
If you don't like the idea, what about a costume of Merasmus, The administrator (i don't remember the name), the Blue and Red Bosses (Mann Co.) , Robot, Sentry or Dispenser, Alien, Dragon, Pony or Monoculus?
Hmm. Scout could be Casey Jones from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, since they both talk with Jersey accents and wield baseball bats. Heavy could go as Colossus from the X-Men, since they've both got that "big, strong, kind Russian guy" thing to them. Demoman could go as Nick Fury, since they're both bald african-american guys with an eyepatch. Sniper could be....I dunno, the Crocodile Hunter?
Spy could go as James Bond, for obvious reasons. And maybe Pyro could go as Master Chief from Halo, since they're both famous for never showing their faces.

The pyro could go as an astronaut, maybe. Which would then be hilarious if the Heavy went as a cosmonaut. Alternately, the pyro could glue a bunch of fake tentacles to his mask and put on a pair of wings, and go as Cthullu.
Scout as He-man. That is all.
Demorai pls. Demorai has these: Samur-Eye, Bushi-Dou and Menpo. Spy could be Doctor Who. (Familiar Fez and Dr. Whoa)

Because that's when the story takes place.
The last chapter just had Scout buy Fluttershy an ATARI, stating it was the cutting edge in home game consoles.
TF2 takes place in late 1960's-early 1970's. Otherwise, there's tons of costumes I could draw from.
The exceptions are two I'm using that have already made a referred appearance in story as actual people. That's where I'm getting Medic and Engineer's costumes from.
2359706 Ah. And unfortunately, the best costume I had for Pyro is not valid, since Star Wars came out five years later.
Hm... Maybe Sniper should go as Spock, from Star Trek? The original series debuted in '66. I'd suggest Spy instead, but it'd be hard to pull off the look while under the hockey mask.

Ok, first, I'm calling it that Fluttershy dresses as a tree. Why? Cause she likes trees! (Engi bangs head on wall)
Now to business. I would say dress Heavy as a biker, Scout as Spy and vice versa, Pyro as a candle or ninja (Just gotta paint the suit black and your good!), Sniper as Saxton Hale (I can't remember if it was an official comic or fan made one, but it mentions him being jealous of Saxton's stache
), and Demo as a golfer (Ran out of ideas on him...)

I don't know who, but one of the mercs should be a zombie. As in, LITERALLY a zombie. Zombies showed up as early as he 1930s, so it's all good timeline wise.
Otherwise, Heavy is Yeti.

Mostly because I've been consistent with that sort of media, and even if I didn't, it would only be Australian media. Beyond that, if that were the case it would invalidate the joke I made last chapter about the ATARI.

Spy: casual clothes, no mask (he's always in masks and disguises, Halloween's a vacation for him)
Sniper: a tree (Fluttershy is particularly fond of this one)
Medic: Scarecrow or Tin Man
Pyro: Clown
