Also, Window's 8 Skype App is terrible and I wouldn't have dislike the os nearly as much as I do if it had given me a decent Skype. I was forced to uninstall it and download the desktop client, it was that bad.

8 works perfectly fine for me. It just struck a nerve for me because of how god-awful it's version of Skype is.
Like I said; it forced me to download an earlier version so I could skype in peace.
