Because I can laugh at my self. And it makes people laugh. Well, they might be laughing at me while I limp and stagger along, but they could be laughing at the pirate flag.

And my black hat. My corduroy fedora represents my social disability.

Huh, well that's something I didn't know about you. I'ed probably have saying like "I lost the leg, but kept the arrow" and have a arrow stickin out of it. My dad would get a kick out of it. And what do you mean by social disability? Phobia? anxiety? or just cynical in RL?

Yeah. I internally severed my left leg below the knee, type five tibia plateau fracture, lost several inches of bone, only thing holding my leg on was some skin.

They patched everything back together... poorly. I have several pounds of steel in my leg now.

Also ruptured the C5 and C6 discs in my neck, the ruptures went inward and did permanent spinal damage, causing partial paralysis in my right arm and a loss of respiratory function.

Also had compound fracture of my knee. Whee!
