New Sunflower chapter! · 7:19pm May 9th, 2014
So, I attended my first con as an adult last weekend. Minneapolis Comic Con. Whew, I had a blast! Tons of people, lots of cosplay (including some girls doing pony cosplay). I attended a couple of programs on storytelling, saw a bunch of celebrities (William Shatner, Karen Gillan, Matt Smith, and the Firefly panel that included Nathan Fillion and Adam Baldwin).
By the time Monday rolled around, I was happily exhausted. Didn't get whole bunches of writing done, though 
Anyway, the latest chapter of Project Sunflower: Harmony is up. More slice-of-life stuff, yay!
This is kind of a tricky balancing act. I'm trying to set up the main story while Erin is getting set up in her new life in Ponyville. For those of you who don't like slice-of-life, things should be picking up in a few chapters. I'm concentrating a lot on Erin settling down in Ponyville, I know. I really enjoy reading that kind of stuff, myself, which is probably why I like writing it so much. Still, hopefully all the things happening in the background keep it from being boring to anyone who doesn't like that sort of thing.
I'm trying something new with this chapter and putting the PoV character for the upcoming section in between the breaks. Please let me know if you find that distracting. I'm actually thinking I may change that to a symbol later on, either something with the PoV character's cutie mark, or some other symbol that represents them if they're not a pony.
Update on unpublished chapters: Chapter 6 is in editing, chapter 7 is almost ready to turn over to my editors.
Also, I'm working on some other stuff that I hope you guys will like. More updates on that, soon!

Another chapter. Another happy day for me.
Do the cutiemark/sumbol style. Everyone else who has pictures when they change PoV use that. A whole picture of the pony/person is a bit to much.

Hey, nothing says you can't have some time to yourself and ENJOY life. Plus a small break here and there never harmed anyone, isn't that something Twilight's friends have tried to get through to her a few times now?
