Important News Regarding 'Becoming One With The Night' [Story-Tagged Blog] · 8:45pm Mar 20th, 2014
I've just unpublished the 'Bonus' labeled chapters. It's been 8 months now since I completed the story, and all that time I claimed that I would be introducing a sequel at some point when I knew what to do with it. Additionally, for those also following me specifically, you are probably aware of my recent 4 month hiatus. With a new lease on writing, and how invigorating it's been making me feel, it's finally that time.
At some point soon, a sequel will be released. I plan for it to pick up where Becoming One With The Night ended. I've toyed with the concept of rewriting it first, as it is a rather crudely done story (those first few chapters especially... Somewhat painful to read and some logic holes here and there) but I'm looking towards the future.
I cannot guarantee an exact date, I'll be doing the linking of the stories when it is ready though, and also releasing another story-tagged blog to inform everyone. I've given up on restricting myself to any one, two, or five stories, so I'll write on this when I'm inspired to do so. However, know that it is coming, at last.
Also, I want to thank all of you for supporting my very first Pony story. As I'm writing this, I noticed that it just broke 700 upvotes, which is a pretty strong accomplishment for any story. Here's to more TwiLuna focus on the future, as well as the mending of strained relations, and the general complication life brings with it.

1942036 Hey, it's more than fair enough to take some time off when it's needed. I've had difficulties as well, just kept starting only to stop again. Sometimes the real world just calls and there's nothing you can do about it.
The sequel needs to have more explosions than the first. Whether they be explosions of joy, sadness, song, or even sexual explosions, I'll leave up to you.

Yup.. I had almost left this for dead, so I know some folks will be very happy now, even though this really is a subpar story, at least to me. I've got a lot of new things I've learned since that I'll be applying. Trying very hard not to get caught up in a full rewrite though.

Also, you could do the whole preggers thing,
you could have them take a vacation,
continue with teh dream teaching,
there's always family disasters, (like, hey your dad's dead. LATER!)
house disasters,
one of the other couples could have a fight,
Spike could get ill or something/move out,
there's always the resentment angle,
noble's and the fun they bring "gotta give them a certain level of power and threat though" uhhh, there's always the damnit, I'm broke! because being a librarian doesn't give me money so I gotta go get a job waiting tables! sitcom route.

or some other alicorns could be found and then promptly wiped out or kidnapping could happen.
I know at one point you said you wanted to make the sequel an adventure type thing too so griffions! they;re popular.

Most of what I had written was an attempt to bridge a time gap when I was thinking the sequel would take place some months prior, avoiding the tricky stuff. Now that there is no time to be bridged, it really serves no purpose in existing.
This is another reminder that I need to finish reading it. D: I'm terrible at keeping up with what I read beyond a select few stories.
...But, hey! I'm always worse at completing my own updates in a timely manner. :p
