Niaeruzu

Hi! I'm some guy who flails at a keyboard and then suddenly has popular changeling fanfiction. If anybody finds out how I did it, please tell me.

    Because *ahem*

    I called it.

    I FRIGGIN' AHUBLUHBUJABBADOO CALLED IT

For those of you, who can't for the life of them remember who I am, hi, I'm Niaeruzu, and a couple of years ago, I wrote a fanfic about a changeling. It wasn't good, but it was still popular. I continued writing about changelings for a while until I had to quit because of mental issues.

    Ranty rant

Just a heads up, this blog post is mainly me complaining about how terrible my life is, so if that doesn't interest you... Uh, go do something you enjoy doing? It's not like I'm holding you hostage here, you know. Go have fun!

Hey dudes and dudettes!

Whoa, I sound like a totally gnarly radical 80's person. Err, wow, I'm digressing before I even get to the part where I can digress from. *ahem*

Long time no see! Well, long time no type, because I can't see you guys. Unless you comment. It's been a few weeks, in which I haven't made any blog posts or any updates. As you guys know (or maybe not), I've had some issues recently. After talking to a psychiatrist/psychologist/I don't know which is which/whatever, it's become pretty clear that I have some kind of fear or insecurity disorder. It's given me a lot of reason to reflect on myself, and I've done so quite a bit. Which was actually pretty tough, considering I'm also on pills, and I had to make some harsh realisations.

I'm not as aware of my mental limitations as I thought I am. Even though I greatly value rational thought and openmindedness, even I have base urges and irrational thoughts. The kind of stuff that's so ingrained into your mind, it's not a conscious effort, and it doesn't go away with a little bit of conscious effort either. I really need some help, but I'm working on it.

Due to all this hubbub, I haven't gotten any writing done, at all. Luckily, I've now wrapped up almost everything for this quarter of the schoolyear. There's one project left, but that's a team thing. It's not that difficult, just time consuming. And besides, my team's pretty neato. I've got next week off, and the two weeks after that are free of homework, so I'm definitely going to try to continue writing Traveler's Exile in that time. I'm not entirely satisfied with the story, but I'm going to finish it regardless.

So yeah. New chapters coming soon! But now, for something different.

One thing that's been pretty tough in the past few weeks is getting my attention off school and actually relaxing. I don't often do stuff that requires all of my attention, so the part of me that's dawdling usually wanders off to think about something else. Mostly about school, which is worrying and doesn't get me to cool down. Very annoying. To that end, I'm going to do a lot of stuff on the side. I'm going to do Kobujutsu, for example! Hitting people with a stick has always been one of my hobbies. On top of that, a couple of brony friends asked if I wanted to make a new D&D group, with me as the DM. If any funny stories arise (and considering I'm a bit of a notoriously weird improviser around here, they probably will), I'll tell them to you guys in between.

Also, video games video games video games, of course. I got myself a Wii U, the limited edition Wind Waker version, to be exact! Man, that thing is awesome. The gamepad's design is just amazing, and it's even a better TV remote than my actual remote. Which is a piece of poop that doesn't work when it gets more than five centimeters away from the television. Oh, and Wind Waker is pretty fun, too. Maybe one of you will run into one of my messages sometime.

Oh, and a little bit of a call to arms of sorts: I got Pokémon Y! And let me tell you...

GOD I LOVE THIS GAME!

It's just so amazing with the new graphics and the new 'mons and the new music and I'm loving it! I'm already in the postgame, with a team of around level 70, but I've run into a bit of a snag. You see, I have a totally rad Tyranitar who is amazing and stuff, but the Tyranitarite is located in Pokémon X! If someone has it and wants to trade, please leave a comment or send me a message. I can trade it for any Y-specific mega stone, though preferably not the Aggronite. I've got my sweet, sweet Aggron waiting in Black 2 to be transferred so she can mega-evolve as well. Additionally, if anyone wants a Gengar, I've got a Haunter I can trade to you. It's around level 30, if I recall correctly. Though I can easily catch one that's nearly level 60 on Victory Road.

Want to battle with me? Sure! I've got a powerful (if yet incomplete) team, ready to face anything. They're diverse, they're tough, they're around level 70, and I'd love to face someone. Beware, though, as one of my 'mons is a pretty major postgame spoiler. Big legendary. Really cool.

And with that, I guess I should leave you guys with something writing-related. I've been gone for a little while, after all! So here are some more ideas for upcoming stories that I have. These ones aren't at the same level as the earlier ones, as I haven't gotten around to thinking up the entire story for these. Here goes:

Tales of Equestria
Adventure story, rated Everyone. Maybe Teen. When the changelings steal an important magical artifact from Canterlot, Twilight and her friends set out to retrieve it. The artifact is a mystical amplifier, so it's pretty clear why the changelings would steal it... right? As the group valiantly progresses, it's soon clear that there's a lot more at stake here than they previously thought, and their world is turned upside-down... literally!

My Little Pony: Spacefaring is Magic
Comedy/Slice-of-Life story, rated Everyone. Years upon years after the events we're familiar with, Celestia suddenly vanishes from Equestria, taking her sun with her. Left with a dying planet, all of ponykind takes to the stars, living in a gigantic space station, Equestria II. Many ships have been sent out to the far reaches of space, in search of a new inhabitable planet. One such ship has Princess Luna's personal student as its captain, a unicorn named Twilight Sparkle. She and her crew of rather odd ponies, and one peculiar robot, have more than their fair share of troubles in between finding a new home.

A Royal Education
Comedy/Slice-of-Life story, rated Everyone. When Queen Chrysalis receives word of Discord's rehabilitation, she gets the idea to reach out to ponykind herself. Not so she can learn about friendship and all that nonsense, but to get close to them, find their weaknesses, and break them, getting her sweet, glorious revenge in the process. Sadly, there are a few bumps in the road: it's quickly confirmed that Queen Chrysalis is a bit out of touch with pony society and their general knowledge, as exemplified in her odd behaviour at the Canterlot Wedding, and the Elements of Harmony aren't exactly available. She gets stuck in Ponyville Elementary, being rehabilitated by perhaps the three most annoying pests in all of Equestria.

Freaky FrTuesday (bite me, I can't come up with a title)
Comedy/Slice-of-Life story, rated Everyone. Twilight is a ghost. Rainbow Dash is a multicoloured blob. Rarity is a robot. Applejack is made of wood. Fluttershy is a half-dragon. Pinkie Pie is normal. What happened to the Mane Six, who is responsible, and perhaps most important, how are they going go back to normal?

Okay, that's all for today. Additionally, I've given writing a pony animation, or a video game some thought, but that doesn't really fit in with my current schedule right now. Maybe an audio book version of Thrown Abroad, after I rewrite it. Who knows? Tell me what you think!

Glad to hear you got help, and looks like you're already doing everything I was going to suggest. Exercise is more effective then all known anti-depressants at combatting depression (and most similiar mental illnesses.)

Anyhow, psychiatrist is an M.D. with a specialty in psychiatry. Psychologist is a Bachelor's degree (a.k.a. not a doctor) who has 2-4 years of school on counseling, social therapy, etc...

Always look on the bright side of life :pinkiehappy:

psychiatrist/psychologist

A psychiatrist is the one who tells you lie on a couch and tell them about your problems.

A psychologist studies these thing. The word 'ology' means 'to study', hence why we have thing like geology, biology, and so on and so forth.

Anyway... updates coming soon!! Hopefully more incompetent changelings that don't know they're incompetent!! Also, still hoping for some Sunny x Sweet Heart as well!!

I hope you get fully well soon, and I love the freaky frtuesday story.

Great to hear you're taking care of yourself. Mental health is important.

Also, those story ideas all sound really fun.

I would read any or all of those.

Spacefaring IS magic.
You do not understand.
Science fiction is my everything when it comes to fiction. I have so many ideas when it comes to magic+technology, it just-- I just-- it makes me want to-- I feel-- JUST--

i.imgur.com/DrXpLu5.gif

Those sound like some fun story ideas, though you're starting to sound like me; have plenty of story ideas, not enough time to write them all in a timely manner. :derpytongue2:

I hope you feel better man, I know what it feels like and I also share a love of hitting things with sticks. Staves are such a versatile weapon.

Royal Education sounds like a lot of fun, I hope you get to it at some point.

Spacefaring is Magic, A Royal Education, and Freaky FrTuesday sound quite interesting.

Watch out for what you eat, HFCS, junk food filler, has been proposed to dissolve your brain, and broccoli has been found to send its DNA around your bloodstream when you eat it. You know, vegetable vampire thing? :pinkiegasp:

Im terrible at Pokemon. 8( My fist trick is to evolve my starter before I reach the first gym, and preferably again before I reach the second, then have at least one tuned Level 100 before even approaching Victory Road.

Lets just say I didnt have much trouble getting the medal, One And Only on Black 2.

I accidentally tried having a battle with a current gen only kiddie at a roadshow. I had a full squad of L100. He had a Regigigas. I quit so he wouldnt lose the game. It was my first L100 squad at a roadshow in ten years.

Pinkie is normal? Pinkie is always normal, its just her surrounding reality and it occupants that are strange. Which is why I like her so much. To me, shes normal. :pinkiecrazy:

I'm not entirely satisfied with the story, but I'm going to finish it regardless.

an Author not satisfied with his story, but will finish it?! what Black Magic is this?!

guess you could say that your....

...back in black.

....ya know, cause, changelings?

When the changelings steal an important magical artifact from Canterlot, Twilight and her friends set out to retrieve it. The artifact is a mystical amplifier, so it's pretty clear why the changelings would steal it... right?

They probably stole it as revenge for the Evershifting Stone... :trixieshiftright:

I like the idea of Freaky FrTuesday :D

I'd love to see Freaky Fr(Tuesday)
...even if you can't come up with a name for it. :rainbowwild:

Twilight is a ghost. Rainbow Dash is a multicoloured blob. Rarity is a robot. Applejack is made of wood. Fluttershy is a half-dragon. Pinkie Pie is normal.

Wait, normal as in Pinkie normal, or normal normal?:trixieshiftright:
