For those of you, who can't for the life of them remember who I am, hi, I'm Niaeruzu, and a couple of years ago, I wrote a fanfic about a changeling. It wasn't good, but it was still popular. I continued writing about changelings for a while until I had to quit because of mental issues.
Even though I haven't done anything in this fandom for like... I dunno, the last year and a half, or so? I decided to check out yesterday's episode.
Should I sue and demand royalties? Friendship used as substitute for love, crossing cultural boundaries (although not nearly as extreme), changelings being able to change into rocks, no matter how weirdly specific that is!
Just kidding, it's probably a coincidence. But still! I'm all giddy with excitement, which hasn't happened since... I had to stop writing, I think? Although this doesn't necessarily open up a whole lot in terms of fanfic writing, it's amazing to see stuff like this in the actual show. It feels god damn amazing to see stuff I thought up apparently being good enough content to be used on the show, even if it is a coincidence. I never could've imagined that my crappy imagination and writing would show up on the show. Hell, if you just jumbled names and locations around, the entirety of My Little Changeling could be a spin-off of the show, featuring Thorax. Okay, that might be reaching a bit, but still.
Geez, it feels weird to post here again, despite the excitement. I'm sorry I haven't kept you guys up to date with anything, and that I had to stop writing. At one point, I guess I felt too ashamed of myself to show myself here again. After all, I just kinda gave up you guys' trust out of nowhere. I'm gonna push myself extra hard to get some writing out sometime soon! I hope. I can't promise anything.
all in all 8/10 great episode song was a bit too much i think thorax' voice could use some work

It's alright that you haven't wrote anything for that long. You wrote one of the best changeling story right here in this website, so what really matters is explaining your thoughts about the new episode.
Because of this, the episode is extremely relevant to you, considering what you have written your stories before. Maybe that episode gave you inspiration and parts of your headcanon imagination is not in vain. It became canon!
I'm glad to know you are still alive, and I understand you have problems before. I hope you feel better, best changeling author.

Heck, they even used Line of Sight Naming to come up with Thorax's pony name, just like Sun Cloak. Only difference is, Thorax had an actual name instead of a number.
Anyway, I've been patiently waiting for another chapter from Traveler's Exile. I hope you do more with that soon!

I wouldn't compare your stories and Suncloak to this episode. For one, Suncloak actually has a personality and events happen at a more logical pace. Good to see you're alive though.
Oh, and yeah, Thorax's voice was so fucking bland and lazy. I was sure it was Sunburst's VA doing his real voice, but apparently it's a different guy.
