Holy crap, a thousand people are paying attention to me. Thank you all, your well wishes and comments have been absolutely invaluable over the last year and change. I suddenly wish I had held back some big reveal or story I could drop on you all to commemorate this, but I didn't. Instead, let's see.. Well, something that popped up in the comments of Change Is Gonna Come was the issue of commissions. Now I'm not saying I'm offering any, but just out of curiosity, if I were what would you all commission? (You Can Fight Fate doesn't count, I'm already writing that whether y'all like it or not). Who knows? I might just flesh out something one of you suggests into a full-fledged story.

Edit: or you could just write whatever the hell you want to, i will love it anyways. However, if i were to commission anything, i would want a simple twidash fic. Or you could do a "spike and twilight have outlived everyone, and now you will cry because this is supposed to be heartbreaking." Story.

You deserve the followers "A Stitch In Time" was an amazing story. It would be really cool if you wrote an epic story Twilight has to use her god mode to fight someone, I'm not totally sure on this one I'd have to flush it out more or maybe a sad one where Twilight goes back in time and either finds or gives birth to and raises Celestia and Luna, based off of this picture.

Apparently I did, I had no idea those stories even existed, well to be fair the second one is on my read later list, although when I mentioned my first idea I was thinking of more along the lines of 'Titanomachy' or 'Growing Pains'. Thanks for that 'Que Sera, Sera' by the way.

I did indeed, so glad you could find it. Is 'The Immortal Game' really very similar to 'Growing Pains', because I have to tell you 'Growing Pains' is probably one of my top ten favorite fimfiction?
1123603 never read growing pains as it has several tags that i tend to avoid when looking for fics. However, looking at the synoposis it looks to be similar in several ways.

Ah well I do know that they look mildly similar in certain ways just from the summery of 'The Immortal Games' however I would like to know which tags it is that you are avoiding because 'Growing Pains' is one of my favorite Pony stories and I think if you read it you might like it?
1123606 i usually avoid AU, Dark and especially Tragedy. I can and have read stories from all categories, but i am more hesitant about reading stories with these tags. (Along with human and crossover). It does not help that the story is 375k words.
Immortal game was a special case though. The main reason i gave it a chance was because Wanderer D announced that it will be the next universe visited in The sweetie chronicles. I came for the understanding, but stayed for the story.
Alright, this is going to sound stupid, but please bear with me.
Both Luna and Discord were banished/imprisoned for 1000 years, right? Now you'd assume that Discord was banished before Luna, since Discord ruled before the two sisters banished him. So why, then, did Luna's 1000 years end sooner than Discord's? Wouldn't that mean Luna was sent to the moon before Discord was imprisoned?

There's a story idea I've been kicking around, but I doubt I'll ever have the time to write it. The title is "A Party at a Funeral" and the summary is thus:
Pinkie Pie, long since estranged from her family, is suddenly greeted by her sisters, bearing the news that Granny Pie's funeral would be in a few days. This comes as a shock - she hadn't even known she was sick, let alone that she had passed away.
Pinkie Pie and her sisters catch the next train home, accompanied by Applejack and Granny Smith (who was Granny Pie's best friend when they were growing up), and arrive to pay their respects. Memories, reunions and discussions of identity ensue.
Extra tidbits I wanted to include were the fact that Octavia is Pinkie's sister (optional) and the reveal that Granny Pie is Surprise. And as part of the idea, the other four of the Mane Six would not be present in the story, not even as side characters. On top of that, the whole thing would be written in first person from Pinkie Pie's perspective.
The pieces are there, but I can't find the time or ability to gel them into a proper story - that besides, I want to finish Dusk before I do anything else. I've already distracted myself with two other one-shots.
I think with your ability you could easily make this into something good.
1123615 Discord was never banished for 1000 years. He was banished by the sisters, then locked in stone for x amount of years until the spell started fading when tM6 got the elements.

Ah that explains it, I to have read 'The sweetie chronicles' although ' The Immortal Games' was already on my read later list, long before Wanderer D announced that. If you like 'The sweetie chronicles' Than I think you would like 'Growing Pains' and I urge you to read it, I can even give you a more in depth summery of the story if you like, not right now because it's almost four thirty in the morning and I have been toying with going to bed for the last twenty minutes or so, but in the morning after I wake up if you like I'll right it out for you.

"Wouldn't this make an awesome story if it were longer and maybe there was more emotions involved like maybe the one attacking Twilight was trying to bring out her power through rage and pain?" and I said "yes, yes it would."

Once I flesh out the universe a bit more (which, admittedly, will be a long way down the road, unfortunately), I'd be honored if you took a shot at a Demongate Academy story.

Though if you want ideas, how about where Pinkie Pie created humanity and the majority of our history as a method of dealing with her own negative feelings? Which is great until she writes one of her creations coming to Equestria to say 'hi' and it actually happens. A brony creation.
So who created who? Cue existential crisis and Pinkie Pie dealing with the thought that her actions-as-creator essentially killed several billion humans. Or something.
If you want to go really sad/dark, how about a short side story that takes place in the timeline where Luna got killed in battle with the changelings and Twilight killed herself to reset the loop. When Twilight was severing the alternate timelines from the main one she saw Celestia find her dead. It could go into detail about how she reacted, having already lost Luna and the Bearers, but also knowing about Twilight's condition. Does she continue to fight and eventually drive back the weakened changeling forces and try to pick up the pieces and move on, or give into despair completely and allow the Elements to blow up the world while hoping that in an alternate timeline Twilight will be successful in saving her Sister and Equestria (would probably make for a shorter story). If Celestia is able to save Canterlot from the changelings would paradoxes ensue since in her universe Starswirl was never able to travel to the future after all, breaking the time loop that was already set in place?
I dunno, I am not a creative person and this was all I could think of at the moment. I just know you can write some pretty messed up stuff when you want to, whether or not the violence is graphic and such. Maybe I'm a bit messed up but I was fond of the idea of that deleted scene from the last chapter of Hard Reset that you described. The one where Twilight spills ink on a book and almost kills herself over it.
I do prefer happy endings but in the cases of the alternate timelines in which Twilight died, the only upsides are that Twilight herself turned out OK and the doomed worlds were put out of their suffering by the harmony bomb. All except for (possibly) the one I mentioned above and Alternate/Changeling Twilight's universe/multiverse.

I already fished my wish for an epic-tier prereader, but I've wondered what would happen if changelings weren't always changelings...what if they used to be vampires?

Well I have read/played/watched a good portion of those and have at least a rudimentary knowledge on the extra subjects, but I don't think a person needs to have done all that in order to read the story you are thinking about, at least not if it's written well, but they would need to have done all those things and have that knowledge if they were planning on writing the story you're thinking of, I imagine. Although I suppose if you were to commission the story than the author would just write the story based on what you are directing and maybe even allow you a hand in revising.

Congrats on your 1,000, although I can't say I'm too surprised, given the quality and intrigue of the stuff you put out.
As for commissions, honestly I'd like more backstory on those cultists from Duel Nature. Or it would be awesome to see what you'd get around with on some Daring Do adventure. Then again, something Pinkie-centric would be a blast....
But mostly I just want more Cyanobacteria.

I also forgot to mention that it will be a sort of series of episodes set in a predestined place. If you've seen Stupid Mario Bros. you'll know what I mean. The part involving the FF universe would be the much longer finale, much like the Stupid Mario Bros. Movie. What sucks though is that nearly all of the ideas that I would incorporate into this have already been used. One such idea was Astronima, the combined lifeforces of Celestia and Luna as a last resort. Luna had come up with the theory, but was never able to test it until recently. I had thought of this before that one fic involving the same idea made it to the featured box. I have but two things that absolutely no one has ever thought of before (that I know of).
