Nothing special. Just an old Kentucky boy that made the great choice (or mistake) of signing my name on the dotted line so I could be on the M1 Abrams. Love the vehicle, and loved the training. Just not the repeat from destroying my ankle (for those of you joining the service, try to find any injuries BEFORE you go to MEPS so that it doesn't sneak up on you in the middle of basic when they miss it. Destroyed ankle, missing ATFL or whateverthefuck it's called tendon, and microfractures that are dangerously close to becoming stress fractures. Ugh....)

But yea, spent the past nine months at Ft. Benning going through 19K osut, only to arrive in Korea and have my 2ID orders cancelled. Now I'm sitting here, in "The most requested assignment" or whatever the fuck this base's slogan is, driving the battalion commander around instead of doing my job. But, it's better than the 12 hour guard shifts I was pulling at Honor Guard.

Got into the show when I was in sophmore year of high school. Friend of mine was trying to get me to watch it, and I kept telling him to fuck off, only to find out that my brother, who lives away, watches it. Being stunned and a bit curious in what he saw, I watched it too. Boom. Episodes one and two of season 1 screamed "ON THE WAY" and delivered that fucking friendship sabot named My Little Pony straight into my cranium. I got into fimfiction writing in junior year and wrote a god awful piece of crap that I deleted when I realized how shitty it was. Then I wrote a one shot that was actually good, but no one really spread it around. Then I started on my latest work, something that I hope will be epic and will be enjoyed by those who like this type of story, but again, not much popularity.

So that's me. My name is BronyMarine here because I tried to join the Corps. first, but apparently acne on your shoulders is a grave condition. *rolls eyes* Most people call me Jim, if you want to know, and I'm a pretty cool, if not technical and nerdy, guy. I have a great girlfriend, now Fiance, who is also a fan of the show. I'm not the most physically fit, but I can score a 255 on the APFT pretty regularly (damn run).
