I try to keep the characters I write somewhat.. Realistic? I mean it's a kid's show with fantastical scenarios but I tend to enjoy stories that have that 'human' edge to the characters involved, when I write Sunset with her as a character I like to give her some sort of struggle yet I gravitate towards the ones I'm also going through/have gone through in the past, and I'm very glad it's helped inspire you! Whatever you're going through you can get through it!
