I’m no longer very active on social media, so it’s been a while since I felt the giddy rush of affirmation! But a few weeks ago I submitted my new story to EQD (another thing I haven’t done for a long minute) and it was accepted! I’m finally finding some more time to write. I was inspired to finish writing this story by Bicyclette’s Sci-fi Contest III, but missed the deadline by 40 minutes (as they say, read the fine print!)

By the way, I began writing this story almost a year ago based on some real life events that many of us share ever since COVID changed how the world meets. I hope you enjoy it!
