After being betrayed by her friends during the Anon a Miss incident the darkness threatens to swallow up Sunset, but there are those who want to offer a helping hand and guide her in another direction. Will she take those offered hands, or will she let herself fall to the darkness forever?

Sunset Shimmer was once the most feared girl at school, but by some miracle she turned that around and became loved by most of the student body as well as gaining wonderful friends. One little incident changes all of that and Sunset finds herself going back to old habits in order to protect herself as she learns that the most important lesson is that friendship is bull. Can the love of someone who has wronged her help change all of that and make Sunset realize that she did no wrong and that the ones who needed to learn a lesson was everyone else? Can there ever be forgiveness and a happy ever after?

This actually started out as a plot bunny but will be a full short story consisting of 2 to 4 chapters unless I decide to make it into an epic story!

Can a daughter's love help wear down the darkness caused from anger and hate in one person's soul even when some of it may be justified? And will it give said person a reason to go on when that anger and hate is stripped away taking away the false strength it gave to face the day after a painful past?

Two years ago, Sunset met five girls who offered her their hands in friendship. Yet after overhearing Applejack and Rainbow Dash making fun of her and claiming that there was no way Sunset had what it took to be a part of their group, Sunset swore she would pay them back for their betrayal, and did so in the most painful way she could.
Now with the portal opening, the events of the first Equestria Movie is going to take place with some major changes. Can Twilight rally the girls and form a new team to take on Sunset's Hellfire Club and win back the Element of Harmony, or will Team Harmony manage to bring it together and defeat Hell's Queen?

Expelled, again, by another version of Celestia forces Sunset to reevaluate her life and relationships. Not seeing a reason to stay where she obviously doesn't feel wanted, Sunset leaves Canterlot and travels south and arrives in Dolphin City just as Summer Vacation is starting.

There she will learn that this world isn't as empty of magic as she believed as she reluctantly makes a new group of friends who teach her what true friendship is about. They say the third time is the charm, will this third chance be the thing that Sunset is looking for and what will happen when her old friends come looking to make things up to her? Will she accept their apologies and return to Canterlot, or will she stay where she feels she belongs?

This is a crossover with H2O: Mermaid Adventures on Netflix.
