It had burning brightly before she had taken her as a student, now at the seat of her retirement it now glows dimly, as if almost snuffed from lack of air. The soft wispy embers cry mutely, and here she still sits. Fires are meant to fade in quiet after all...

So I figured I would take this a step in another direction, with the character themselves going to Equestria. So Prepare for the long haul...

Yes, I know it's been done, I know the meme is kinda dead. However since the death of Stan Lee happened just mere moments from my birthday (Nov. 15th) I figured I'd do this little fic for it. The death of Stan Lee... Hit me kinda hard. I grew up with his comics the ones that Pops collected anyways. I even finished his Infinity Gauntlet comic collection by buying the one comic he was missing. Anyways, the fic's not gonna be too super long, but I'll put some effort into it. Stan was a great man, a legend among legends, so since your up there in the big blue yonder, could you say 'Hi' to Joan for me Mr. Lee?

Darkeater Midir was a mighty dragon, a dragon that could be comparable to the Everlasting Dragons. Taken as an egg, he was raised by the Gods to combat the Dark and keep the Abyss at bay. Now defeated, he finds his soul whisked away to a strange Wood, that locals seem to refer to as the "Everfree".

Spike was an average assistant, even for a young dragon. It could be argued that he is a strong as he is tall, and that's saying a lot. He sees himself as strong, but can never muster up the courage to those strong things. The best thing he did was save an Empire, but that was sheer dumb luck! ....Or so he tells himself. He became a 'Friendship Ambassador' for the Dragon Badlands, he was, for a split second, ruler of said lands. Yet even after all of that, he feels as if he's just... Nothing to other ponies. A chance encounter with the largest dragon he will see however, makes his life, and those around him change for the better...

And quite possibly in the worst way imaginable.

In the Guest Room of Twilight's castle there is a single human, he is solitary and does not speak. At least, not to them. He speaks to himself as if their was another pony in the room with him, but other than that his only interactions were nothing more than nod and a sound. But one night, as Twilight is getting ready for bed herself, she hears music coming from his room.
