Dusk isn't like any other pony for she is only half of one the other is best remained secret even though it's pretty
obvious of what she is, she wishes to remain in secret but when a familiar evil arises it lays squarely on her shoulders to save Equestria but at the cost of showing herself to the world and even though she would be a hero
she would be cast out of society, feared and left alone in the world.

Derpy Hooves could easily be cast out of society because of her wall-eyed look, even so she didn't really care about it until now when she meets Lightning Dust an old classmate from school at the party after Twilight has been crowned as a princess. Because of Lightning Dust Derpy completely ruins the party! Now she knows that she will be completely cast out of society, but not with the help of a new friend she makes.
