The morning sun raised over Derpy's home and as soon as it hit her she woke up. "Morning everypony"! she shouted out her window "Morning Derpy" responded Noteworthy 
"Where you of too?" she asked as she saw him carrying a bouquet of flowers 
"Um... Im going to go meet Octavia Melody" Noteworthy smiled nervously and walked away "Good Luck!". 

Derpy rushed down the room and got her mailman outfit, she soon put it on and ate her usual breakfast: Muffins. 
Derpy went out to the post office and got her usual saddle bags filled with letters, she flew off  to reach her destinations.

It was lunch time already and Derpy had already delivered all the mail she needed too, she flew off too the cafe and ate a delicious daisy sandwich.
Once again she went to the post office and got herself more mail to deliver.

It was around 3:00 when she finished off her work when she heard a familiar voice "Well if it isn't Derpy Eye!"
Derpy turned around and met with Lightning Dust's eyes "Don't call me that!" she yelled 

"Why? It fits you and plus your name was already changed to Derpy Hooves so why not Derpy Eye?" Dust grinned

"Cause Derpy Hooves is much better and some pony's still call me Ditzy Doo!" Lightning Dust was getting on her nerves,
"seems like someone has an attitude." 

"The one with attitude is you!" she yelled "Is that a challenge? well the I accept!" Lightning Dust lowered herself to the ground preparing herself for a race, Derpy copied her.

"GO!" Dust yelled and Dashed away to the sky, while Derpy was left behind.
She was trying so hard to catch up with Lightning Dust but she couldn't even see her then she felt a thrust on her left side, Lightning Dust knocked right out of the sky and luckily fell on a bush.

"LOSER!" Dust yelled from the sky. She heard Pony's giggeling behind her it was Dizzy Twister and Cloud Kicker, when they realized that Derpy was looking at them they dashed off.

Derpy Hooves returned to her house took her saddle bags off and mailman outfit. She trotted towards her bed and sat their thinking why does she still have to be mean to me? then she heard a loud boom from outside she quickly went to her window to investigate and she saw the most beautiful thing it was a giant violate star that looked exactly like Twilight Sparkle's cutie mark.

Derpy flew out of her window and flew down to the spot were the star landed, she had a perfect bird's eye view of Twilight Sparkle's friends and she even saw Princess Celestia! That's not all Twilight had wings! She was an alicorn! This was amazing she couldn't believe it! After that was all done Derpy returned to her home and fell asleep.
