A few weeks passed since the Karaoke and Derpy was on her way to the Post office when she heard a little filly saying "Mom can we go to E3 this year?" it was a male filly with a video game controller as a cutie mark they turned at the cross roads, Derpy wondered to herself what it was but she continued on.
When she got to the post office her boss called her "Hey Ditzy we got here a special package for Doctor Whooves, give to him ASAP"
Derpy took hold of the package spread her wings and said "Ok sir!" she was soon off to his home, hoping that she doesn't bump into Lightning Dust. She go to his home and knocked on the door
"Ah Ditzy Doo I assume this is for my special package?" Doctor Whooves opened the door with a smile 
"Yep! I just need your signature here" Derpy handed him a clipboard with a paper on, She straightened her eyes
"So whats in it?" she asked Doctor Whooves looked up from the clipboard 

"Come in and I'll show you" he went and got a knife to open the package and once he did there was what appeared to be a metal stick
"It's the sonic screwdriver, I've always wanted one and now I got it!" he got the screwdriver out and showed it to her
"Woow cool... anyway I gotta go so I'll see you later" 
Derpy soon left the house and returned to the post office and got her saddle bags full with mail as usual. 

Once she was on break she wrote a letter to Luna and planned i to deliver it to the castle.
She once again got another stack of mail in her saddle bags and once she was done with delivering mail she delivered the letter to one of the castle guards and left home. 

As soon as she reached her home a letter popped right in front of her, It was Luna's reply to the letter she sent. Derpy opened it and read it

Hey Derpy!
I imagined that you didn't know what E3 was so I was planning to tell you on Saturday but I guess you found out about it right?
Well E3 is a convention were a lot of different gaming companies go and have meetings to show the new stuff that's coming out. They also have booths were some of the new games coming out are playable they also have TV screens everywhere showcasing the new games. It's really awesome and I hope you can come with me! We'll have an amazing time!

Derpy immediately got psyched and soon wrote a letter back to Luna.
She went to bed after that and imagined what E3 would look like.
