Now, hear me out, I didn't have any expectations opening this story, considering it's tags and description. But l just can't help myself but notice:
First sentence on the book.
EGX, the biggest gaming event in the UK, delayed due to a certain pandemic, now I was here, excited for a major announcement from Relic.
Do you see anything strange?
This is not a proper sentence structure.
Now I was This is two different tenses in one piece of a sentence. Past and present.
Like, seriously man. Do you speak like this in real life too? "Oh", you would say, "it's just one mistake, why are you being so dramatic?" No. No it's not a one mistake. It's all throughout the chapter. And perhaps all the others. And not just this one either.
Related to the story, discussing you fetishes with a stranger seems like a healthy behaviors to you? Then again, tags. And excessive amount of cussing is a obligatory sign of not caring about the reader. Because fuck them, it's my story, if they don't like it, they can go fuck themselves, bunch of whiny bitches. Well, usually, anyway. In real world it's a sign of low intelligence, which gives protagonist very specific first impression.
On a positive note, virus joke was funny... And that's it. - Your asshat, #######.
“And… you’re certain that focusing on only half of the aspects of the dark gods would be stable?”
“Well I mean the normal Chaos Gods do that anyway and they seem fine, so there shouldn’t be a problem with me going for the more positive side of the Empyrean instead, right?”
11240995 Also, I knew that the hopes of a decent expansion for DoW 3, even in a fictional universe, was basically impossible, so I was only mildly disappointed instead of depressed like our new Primordial Truth protagonist
In Warhammer 40K, we see many Chaos followers being good and honorable with benefits and no downsides to worshipping Chaos of any alignment. Such as a prosperous agri world thanks to a Great Unclean one blessing their planet with vibrant life and personally coming to protect them from a Tau invasion. Many primitive humans follow Khorne and are downright superhuman without mutation. I could go on. These are good people. All the Chaos freaks and monsters are bad people. I’m pretty sure Chaos is neither good nor bad. Rather, we just tend to be horrible people at heart. At least in 40K. And Chaos gives us power. What we do with it is our own choice. Puts their twisted followers into a grim perspective, eh?
11486541 I mean ok but if you want to know what a chaos god is all about all one has to do is look at its daemons... as they are literally an extension of the god.
Are there any known instances of daemons preforming these feats of good?
I've never heard anyone talk about it, but I always imagined that as gods of the Immaterium the Chaos gods were forced into being evil. The Emperor tried to erase the knowledge of them to erase their existence which lead to the joke about that fifth chaos good but due to it I always thought that their personalities are heavily under away of the material races. If we drown ourselves in hate and bloodlust, Khorne does as well. If we view combat as something which should be conducted with honor and pride, so to shall Khorne. It'd mean the majority of the galaxies problems are caused cause we, the material races, decided to only focus on the worst possible aspects which in turn corrupted the chaos gods. Before the Old Ones and Necrons fought the warp was pure and was simply the Sea of Souls. It was only after they tainted the chaos gods that things went bad overall. Now there's almost nothing good that could help them take on more pure forms. The intro IS about how the 41st millenium sucks. "in the grim dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods.” If all of the galaxy believes that quote, then that is how the Immaterium shall change.
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha that's funny
Hehehehe… it’s like this was meant for me!
This has to be the best Displaced beginning I have read on this site. Can't wait to see more
Ok, I like this a lot. Really unique and hilarious in all the right ways.

A Fair statement, if there ever was one
