"Scootaloo?" Sweetie Belle squinted her eyes at the silhouette in front of her.
"Oh, hey, Sweetie Belle. I didn't see you back there."
"What are you doing standing on the cliff? Are you waiting for the sunset? Is that it?" Sweetie Belle asked. ”You’re standing awfully close to the edge, you know?”
"Sweetie Belle, do you know how you sometimes can't do something, but when it matters the most, you end up doing it regardless?" Scootaloo looked forward.
“Umm…” Sweetie Belle puckered her eyebrows. "Like what?"
"Like flying." Scootaloo jumped forth.
"Scootaloo, no!" Sweetie Belle yelled at the empty cliff edge in front of her.

I've also started to notice a trend as well. Lots of skulls going around, it seems. I bet it's only a matter before Apple Bloom joins the party. Be scared, Apple Bloom. Be very scared.
This might work but is an efficient way to die. Interestingly enough, the 1st and only time Sweetie Belle teleported in the series is in S09E22 Growing up is hard to do, in an emergency. It probably help that she was aged up at the time by a magical plant.

If only somepony had introduced Scootaloo to the wonderful world of aeronautics instead of just spouting generic feel-good platitudes and calling it a job well done.

Well, using levitation to slow Scootaloo's descent might also be an option. And given how close she's come to flying, Scootaloo could probably also use the thrust from her wings to slow down at least enough that she'd live to regret this.
