A crystal giving Spike the ability to control and even rewrite the minds of others embeds itself into his forehead. Suffice to say, there's nothing left to do now but conquer the world.
I feel like every option here is a trap 1. Is a trap because there is no way this isn't another illusion, the kitsune haven't survived this long by being cocky and arrogant. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole forest was an illusion 2. Same reasons as option 1, but it's also the worst response spike could do even if this isn't an illusion. 3. Betraying the gems, our most powerful and only ally capable of actually hurting spike sounds like a VERY bad idea.
I actually like puzzlemaster's idea of spike pulling an uno reverse on the gems. Probably not immediately, but spike is clever enough to figure out how to do that in like an arc or two.
As for the kitsunes, doing something along the lines of option 1 is probably our best bet. Just as long as we make sure to remember anything and everything could be an illusion. And that though it is their specialty, they can likely do magic other then illusions. And if the guy is an illusion, this is going to end up being a grueling grid search or something.
All of the options feel like a trap but gotta go with option 3. The gems really don't want spike listening to this and I can truly see them taking over spike once all is done but the kitsunes obviously don't want to be enslaved so could be lying.
Opción 1, obviamente las gemas van hacerla algo a Spike cuando termine todo su plan, si tan solo Spike supiera como defenderse de estás y seguir usandolas
Short Answer: Option 3 I mean, didn't we already know that was Domination's endgame? It's what it was made for, it's only purpose. Domination for power's sake. Same with Punishment, it's not based on any justice or morality, punishment for power's sake. The Peryton imploded because they made evil superweapons even more toxic than them that ate their society and led to the whole world uniting against the Gem controlled Peryton. I assume at least. I didn't think Spike would figure out he was rewritten for awhile more, until he starts dealing with Equestria. Him using a Changeling as a shield is one symptom of that. Option 1 sounds like Domination (who is capable of rewriting Spike more I'm sure), while 2 definitely sounds like Punishment (whom we've yet to actually listen to). 3 sounds like actual Spike’s thoughts and a rather heroic turn for the story. What would Option 3 look like? Assuming it's not just breaking Domination's gem and going home? I don't think the author would make an option to just end the story like that. White Hat mind control to make Equestria a better place? Good All-King Spike ruling over everything with brainwashing? Option 1 is the cowardly one and 2 the straight villain path. I'm curious where 3 leads. Perhaps freeing that frozen Peryton for a non-Gem assisted interrogation? As geming her would mean Domination and Punishment could take control and make her say what they want to keep Spike in line. That could back up what Kisano is saying.
Damn Elsaack makes a good point, Option 3 all the way. I'm curious why people are choosing option 1 it just makes Spike look like a bitch, he knows that he's being used but he's just like "aww jeez I'm in too deep can't think for myself and man up".
Option 3 seems like a "Good ending but not best ending, the story end here, Spike take out Domination and throw it somewhere, get free from the influence, everyone get a hug and nothing more happen as the Gems stay there waiting for the next victim to enslave everyone"
Option 1 meanwhile make Spike go deeper into the rabbit hole, and the chance of finding more about Domination and the other gems, and maybe in a future deal with them and stop their plans.
Option 2 is like killing a important NPC that will help you in the future, someone that is not super important for the story but without him you will not get the 'Perfect ending'
Voting 4: realize that he’s right… and use Spike’s own sheer force of personality and mental fortitude to rip domination’s powers from it… basically enslaving Domination himself to use the powers as he himself sees fit…

I also vote 1. Dominance is more like a driver and guide for the spike (answering his questions and giving advice). Spike got into this car and no one pokes a gun in the back of his head, but that's exactly what the old man thinks and that's exactly what his friends would think, and enslavement is just a way to skip boring awareness and acceptance. and yes #2 is very bad, you still need to look for such illusionists, therefore only slavery and control!
Option 3 - 5 votes Option 1 - 14 votes Option 4 - Take control of the gems has enough votes to open up a potential future avenue of the story, that will come into play later down the line. We will see!
Option 3
While domination may have influence Spike, it was still his choice to walk down the path he's on. He's not innocent.
obviously no one picks option three but I suggest you do a side story on this one.
But I choose 1.
Option 3
Option 1.
Option 3 I feel defeats the whole purpose of the story, I think. But at the same time, I get it. I could see spike doing hat.
Or better yet, option 4 spike dominates the crystal, making him his slave

Same, 3 is a good story, but it isn't this story.
I also vote 1.

My vote goes to Option 1

Option 3.5 we need to win the the relics of the old world learn from them how to be a better monster a monster of my own making

Option 1
Option 1
I'm going with option 1
Option 1
I too offer up option one we are in too deep now
Option 1:
He’s in way to deep to turn back now
Option 1
Option 1. We are in too deep.
Option 3 defeats the whole purpose of the story.
Plus I’m sure Spike will find a way to regain control or to take over control from the gems, anyways.
Option 3 - 5 votes
Option 1 - 14 votes
Option 4 - Take control of the gems has enough votes to open up a potential future avenue of the story, that will come into play later down the line. We will see!
Working on the next chapter now!
