A crystal giving Spike the ability to control and even rewrite the minds of others embeds itself into his forehead. Suffice to say, there's nothing left to do now but conquer the world.
I actually like option 2 it is safer and sure less Dragons but you get Ember faster and as soon as she is under the Crystal's and by extension Spike's control he can use her to bring the rest of the Dragons under control. Plus honestly I would love two sex scenes where Ember has sex with Thorax and then Spike and during the sex scene with Spike Ember gets pregnant with Spike's offspring like Smolder did in the first chapter
Chapter 2 Option 3 If we're in it for the long-haul then the option that'll draw the least attention is probably the best one. Plus once we start getting dragons we can use those dragons to get more dragons. Exponential growth.
Option 4: Ember is the Dragon Lord. She holds the Bloodstone Scepter which she can command the other dragons to follow her orders. Just invite her over, get the gem in her and command her to command the dragons to allow Spike to put the white gems on their foreheads.
My personal plan: Invite Ember and dominate her individually, then go with her to the dragon lands and use the power of the dragon scepter to get small groups of dragons little by little, similar to the Changeling Hive. Preferably individually as Dragons are very strong, but they are all under the control of the Dragon Scepter. It's a slow process, but almost bullet proof, because Ember using her power on individual or even small groups over time would not arouse any suspicions at all. No need to rush the Dragons, especially if they return more or less unchanged, no one suspects anything until it is far too late and at that point the power of the Dragon Scepter is still the ultimate check mate
When spike try to think of plan on how to get dragon lord ember and other dragons under his control till he has flashbacks like someone hit him on a head with bat with yell of bonk!, spike remember there is one thing that can help him to put all dragons races under his will in one fall swap without risk, the Bloodstone Scepter!
With that plan in hands spike ordered thorax to send a letter to ember, asking dragon lord for help dealing with alone rogue dragon who is causing problems to his changedling, so thorax asked ember to come alone to his kingdom with her scepter to del that dragon.
after the letter is send spike now turn to crystal of domination/pharynx and ask: what will happen if we combined our powers with another magical item liked bloodstone scepter?
11355793 At least until Spike has enough Dragons under his control, keeping the Charade that Ember is I charge, serves his plans to enslave the Dragons. Once he has enough Dragons it makes no difference really.
Option 3 sounds best to me - it's slow going, but it can be used to slowly turn Ember's power-base against her until she doesn't have anywhere to turn.
Loving that people are suggesting these ideas. The issue I personally have is that the gigantic dragons are... well... basically completely and utterly unstoppable, looking at things from a realistic way lol.
Still, that's three votes for basically the same thing. Let's see if that wins, and even if not I will be sure to include some of the DNA of these ideas into it :)
Option 2 Ember is the key much like our own changling general, with her we can gain more in the long run, and faster and less on guard than the third option.
Though dragons are far from united even they would notice when they begin losing friends and fellows suddenly and over time, and dragons cannot hide the gems.
The first option isn't possible, even in a surprise attack dragons would rally quick as independents and don't need teams to work, whereas Changelings depend on it heavily.
Option 2 ultimately takes the most advantage of the changelings using ambush to take a group of dragons in shock, and in a moment allows for capture, and allows our single general, and fighter to focus their efforts to make a quick win.
Chapter 3 option 2. It may take a while. But once Ember is under Spike’s control. He can either have her order the Dragons to accept the crystals. Or He can take the blood stance scepter for himself. And become the Dragon lord.
Chapter 2 option 4 Have Thorax invite Ember over. Put a gem on her and acquire the Dragon lord scepter. Use Dragon lord scepter to command smaller groups of dragons to separate them and give them white gems. Keep doing this until you get all the smaller dragons and mabye have the smaller dragons convince the bigger dragons to put on the white gem via saying its a new fashion trend. Show off your hoard by wearing it or something like that. Dragons are very competitive so by convincing them that having a white gem in your forehead makes you better then those that don't. Most should willingly put on the gem.
chapter 2, option 4 Agree with comments above. However, the guys forgot such a fact - "Spike is the dragon lord" it was he who won the staff and simply made Ember the governor (deputy). As a result, you can beat it from the banal: He snapped his fingers and the staff flew into Spike's hand, to ... let's say that the ruby on the staff also has its own will / mind and only the stone of domination hears / understands it and as a "stupid option" to break the stone out of the staff upon receiving it and absorb/merge together with the stone in Spike's forehead and unlock new powers. Just my opinion.
Chapter 2 Option 1: Plan a lightning strike in the dead of night into the Dragonlands, capturing as many smaller dragons and Ember as possible and bring them to the changeling hive before their larger kin can wake up. This option is risky, but is far quicker and will lead to the most amount of dragons under Spike's command.
The votes are in and I shall begin writing ASAP The result are:
Option 1: 2
Option 2: 7
Option 3: 5
Option 4 - Take the Bloodstone Scepter: 5 (Though this may not have won, the points commenters raised will be taken aboard and tbh I might even have Spike still take the scepter for some fun upgrades)
Option 4 - Spike invaded the Kirin's instead of the Dragons: 1
I would like it if Spike also has to use intelligent wording for the rules. like how laws are made. That defying Spike is something to be ashamed. That rule can cover a lot of scenario's all by itself.
Chapter 2 option 1

Why’d letting ember keep bloodstone scepter and her rank when under spike control, why not have him take the scepter and become dragon lord himself?

you do realize that will take too long for to happen and it sounds to me it just repeat of this chapter.
also how long it takes for mane six and rest of young six to realize that both theirs (former)friend are missing right?
