I think Spike and Dansaar are going to swap roles soon. Spike is obviously the better Irra. And I just can't see Dansaar as anything but a submissive happy Jala. And after that display most in the room might feel the same.
I hope Hajaa tells us more about the Assassin. And if he does survives which I assume is highly unlikelyI hope he can be re-formed into another tribe Jala.
11260705 11260875 I think the story's been making a point about that rigid caste system creating more problems than it solves. And how everyone is happier if they can be who they want to be, not what is expected of them, especially over shallow, arbitrary things like literal dick size.
It was really satisfying to see everyone's favourite Sweetling, Thorax, stand up for his friends. It's easy to forget that while he was fearful and worried, he was never a coward, nor brittle. On the contrary, he was immensely brave to do what he did. Plus, for all that Hajaa thinks Thorax is weak, he can always change into something big. Like a bear. He can look after himself, the buggy goofball. If kept fed with lots of love and friendship.
Also nice to see Twilight adapt to this opponent! Twilight Sparkle's actually a highly accomplished fighter, after all these adventures, and a resouceful one. Protection against direct magic won't help you against a telekinetic with enough power to throw a small building at you.
And this attacker... I will once again note how the old System of Irra and Jala has created way more problems than it solved. Because he's one of them. The similarities to the Janissaries is obvious, if his last thoughts going to a "master" didn't make it clear enough. This poor, twisted fool is a SLAVE. And from the sound of it, one who personally knew Hajaa. Perhaps he once was Hajaa's Jala, in fact, one he had to leave behind or believed dead or broken beyond saving. That would also explain Hajaa's guilt-ridden nightmares about Thorax, if he lost someone like that before. Also, it would be a cruel thing to send Hajaa's love(?) after him to see him dead, which makes me believe it even more: either he succeeds and Hajaa dies by the hands of a loved one, or he kills the Yannissary and Hajaa has to live with that...
I hope this story continues, this is the most fun zebradom gay story out there. Personally I think we should see more of sunburst (cause he needs some love) and how the princesses will have to deal with this predicament.

Thorax is the best buggo. Prove me wrong.

To undertake the impossible is folly. I cannot.
Messy.

Thanks! Me and my Co-writer put a lot of work into the early chapters, and I attempted to carry on the quality on my own in the later ones
