I wonder why...
: "That... actually sounds nice."
Huh, interresting concept.
I'm curious to see where it goes. The day had just started after all.
Really nice concept. Waiting for more!
Hmm. First, technicals:
> “Your task for Mondays is to entertain any visiting Ambassador,” Master explained as he floated towards the door, “Is there is none visiting the Castle that week, it gives you a free day. Enter now.”
Should be "If there ..."
Now: As I understand this setup, she is going to be on this "show" for a minimum of 6 months. During this time, everyone she meets is an actor, every place she goes is a stage. Will anyone back in real Equestria wonder what happened to her for 6 months? Who is going to go looking for her?
Also, it's interesting that they tell her "If there's no one, you get a day off", when the first thing is "Here's a visitor for a month" and everything is staged. Like they actually choose whether/when/if she gets a day off.
...
If it wasn't for the setup idea of 1, this is all her choice, even the choice to not remember the details in order to make up for lost points, and 2, this is all being done to keep Equestria safe, keep the elements from being stolen, and give her friends the same immortality she has, I'd probably abandon this story. But as a look at "How far will she go for all of those?", it's an interesting concept. One takeaway I took from the introduction -- please correct me if I'm wrong -- is that she can "quit" at any time if she wants. She'll lose those rewards, obviously; equally, the producers of this show want to keep her on as long as possible for ratings.
Which implies that as they near the end of the run, the cost of staying on the show / performing whatever will go up. Like they want to keep her as long as possible, but not actually all the way to the end.
I've seen real life gameshows where the challenges get nastier and nastier as you get closer to the finish.
I can't wait to see how Twilight and friends go after the producers of this show once she gets the challenge she won't go along with.
