Yeah, I have to stop here. There are absolutely no redeeming qualities about this story, the main character is about as relatable as Peewee Herman and a the plot is about as thin as the shitty toilet paper you’d find at a gas station. I’m willing to bet that you’re just gonna turn this into Gary Stu and his brain dead bimbo harem.

Hahaha. You read the description. You read the tags. And you just now realize this?
****** Anyway...
I'm enjoying this. My only complaint is the the chapters are short. You could combine them and have a decent length chapter. (2k words + 2k words = sweet spot chapter length imho.)
The main character is completely unrelatable to any human, he is completely detached from reality and the entirety of the dungeon is nothing more than a childish game where nothing can hurt him because he has plot armour.
The fact that everything is always going his way makes the story even less believable.
The riddles are a joke, the traps that an ancient temple has are laughable at best, the fennec foxes are acting like horny cheerleaders from a bad hentai anime, how he manages to always solve a problem within the ancient ruin like temple destroys any chance for us readers to understand/realise the severity of the danger he’s in.
And the fact that a Gary Sue had the nerve to sing one of the best fan made songs that I know is just the straw that broke the camels back.
I really wanted to give this story a chance, but this is like watching a car crash in 144p. It’s just so boring, predictable, linear and everyone can know what’s going to happen before it happens makes it even less engaging.
I remember that not even 3 years ago the stories that were in the featured section of the home page were incredibly well written.
The plots of the stories were amazing, the characters were relatable and the conflicts that they had made the story itself have a very believable and relatable feel to it, almost as it those who red the stories actually understood the struggles of every single character.
But now....now we have boring, simple and predictable stories who’s plot is boring at best and laughable at worst,
9464047 Yeah, that's more or less my take from start to finish. Also I'm pretty sure he was going to fuck those foxes. As-is or after some convenient transformation that allows the author to sidestep any sticky issues, I don't know. I checked out when they stuck Lullaby for a Princess into the story for no reason save "look! Popular fandom thing!"
I was iffy from the moment I read the title but with so little Sphinx content I was crossing those fingers super hard.

I figured man. I just think your comment was hilarious. I died laughing!!

Thanks.
Dude, I love it so far especially when you put Lullaby for a Princess in here towards the end. That's my favorite fan animation and song in mlp ever!

Yay!!!
I hate cliffhangers. The longer the wait the more frustrated and excited I get. Can't wait for the next chapter.
Doing a 500 piece puzzle in only 45 minutes, having seen the whole image for only seconds? What kind of madman is this guy?

And, thank you for posting.
Tis what she said!
How was this even featured?
I must say, I was a bit disappointed at first, but I guess for a story without traps, its pretty good.
Pinkie: STOP IT, TRAPS ARE GAY!
Me: ONLY IF YOU LEWD THEM!!
Pinkie: THIS IS A SMUTFIC!! WHAT WOULD YOU EXPECT!?!
Me: I'm out of here
