Twilight Sparkle and her friends screamed wildly as they entered into the Book of Ages. As they landed on the ground, they came across the Ancient Land of Ma. They all entered it as they're ready to face it. They witnessed the land was in turmoil as Imperial Court argued with each other while civil war broke out between peasants, rebels, imperials, warriors, nobles, warlords, ministers and even the Emperor.
Stallion: Through the storm,
Through the darkness,
The once peaceful kingdom
Lost its Love and Harmony
Turn into grief despair
Virtue Dragon, Blade Dragoon and Warpath Temper prayed and bowed down before the altar as they make a vow of sworn brotherhood. They joined up with various brave and compassion warriors in journeying across the land to help troubled ponies.
Azure Phoenix stood on the Imperial Palace's entrance as he held his sword up high proudly as his Imperial Phoenix Army. His army cheered wildly and proudly. They all went from territory to territory for conquest and control of the land.
Claw Tiger smiled proudly as he led his Tiger Warriors to deal with rebels. As he was dying, Claw Tiger passed the sword to his eldest son, Brave Tiger. Brave Tiger led his warriors in reclaiming Wuhu River for his clan. As he died, he passed to Courage Tiger as the new Leader of Kingdom.
Stallion: The destiny is now yours
To change its course and fate.
Heaven and Earth chose you to fulfill its purpose
Virtue Dragon helped ponies as well as showing kindness and compassion. His warriors of Western Dragon Kingdom fought bravely and determinedly to defend the innocent.

Azure Phoenix recruited more of warriors and strategists under his banner. He led the Imperial Phoenix Kingdom army across the land for conquest and world domination of empire.

Desired a land of power and talents
Courage Tiger was in great doubt and pain about his past. Nevertheless, he stood proudly on Water Tiger military naval ship, along with others. He was leading them to defend his home.
Stallion: A hero with courageous fangs
Desired a land of unity.
Three kingdoms marched into the battlefield as they all charged into it as they began battled with each other fiercely and firmly.

Twilight Sparkle and her friends witnessed the holographic form of history records about the heroes and villains from Qin Dynasty Era into the Three Kingdoms Era. They were amazed and shocked, but sometimes angered and upset while others - pained and despair.

Azure Phoenix and Han Zero stood before Royal Sisters. Both sides held each other hooves for the moment before the princesses disappeared from sights, including Han Zero. Azure Phoenix slowly turned and faced his two biggest rivals - Virtue Dragon and Courage Tiger. Three Rulers held anc crossed each other's their swords up proudly. It created the magical aura forms of Greenish Dragon, Bluish Phoenix and Crimson Tiger stood up and roared wildly as the mightiest warriors in Land of Ma!

Chapter 14: The Trust
Arriving at Xu Province City's Gate, Twilight and her friends came to face Devil Destroyer and Bladestrike. They were in shock and confused about how and why they were here.
"Lord Devil, it's West Ponies from Mighty Tiger Gate!" Bladestrike said firmly.
"I know," Devil Destroyer scoffed, "What are you all doing here?"
"What are we-?! What are you even doing here?!" Twilight demanded in anger.
Rainbow Dash snarled, "Yeah! This place doesn't even belong to you either!"
"It belongs to Virtue!" Applejack exclaimed in anger, "What did you do to him?!"
Twilight and her friends armed and ready to fight with Devil Destroyer and Bladestrike, who also ready to fight as well. Unknown to them, Virtue Dragon and his three brothers were passing by. They stopped upon looking at the scene.
"Oh no," Virtue Dragon yelped in concern as he quickly headed in-between two groups while held his hooves on both sides, "Stop! Stop! Don't fight; don't!"
"Virtue," Twilight and her friends asked in shock and confusion.
"What is the meaning of this, Virtue?!" Devil Destroyer demanded.
Warpath Temper scoffed while pushed Devil Destroyer ahead, "Back off, Demon Warrior!"
"Do you want to go through this again?!"
"Bring it on!"
"Warpath/My Lord, stop!" Blade Dragoon and Bladestrike exclaimed as they quickly halted both of their allies from fighting, "Don't make the scene!"
"Indeed. We should get inside the palace," Dragonspear said calmly and firmly, "We don't want to make a scene here."
Virtue Dragon nodded while looking at Twilight and her friends, "I'll explain later. Just follow me."
Twilight and her friends were confused yet uncertain of what's really going on. Nevertheless, they have to follow Virtue Dragon and his allies to the palace since they trust their allies well.

"YOU DID WHAT?!"
Twilight and her friends were in shock and confuse of what Virtue Dragon has said. Blade Dragoon, Warpath Temper and Dragonspear remained silent yet shown a hint of concern and anger. Devil Destroyer smiled amusingly while sitting down on his seat, along with Bladestrike and Butterfly Dancer.
"H-How could you think of that?!" Twilight asked in shock and concern.
"I can't believe you!" Rainbow exclaimed in annoyance, "How could you let these guys in?! He's the bad guy! He tried to kill all of us especially helping Cruez!"
"I agreed with Rainbow Dash. This is unacceptable and foolish!" Rarity exclaimed in agreement, "No offense."
"None taken," Virtue Dragon said calmly, "I understand your concerns and uneasiness about my decision. But I'd never turn my back on those, who needs my help. And it's final."
"But still, he's the bad guy!" Pinkie exclaimed in concern before screamed, "Good guy don't help bad guy! Is it me or am I crazy?!"
"It's just you, Pinkie." Ben remarked in annoyance, "But still... How can we be sure that he won't turn on us?"
Devil Destroyer scoffed, "If I want this land so badly, I would have trash this place by now rather than being Virtue's guest!"
"That's Lord Virtue to you, demon!" Dragonspear snarled a bit, "Respect him!"
"Respect to my ass, boy!"
"How dare you?! You will pay for-!"
"That's enough, Dragonspear," Virtue Dragon said firmly. He sighed, "Either way, Lord Devil hasn't done any damages and troubles to me and my ponies. And therefore, they're our guests and allies now. You need not worry."
"That's what I'm afraid of..." Twilight said in concern. She turned to Devil Destroyer, "So, how did you end up here?"
Devil Destroyer groaned in anger, "It's something I don't enjoy talking about." He sighed in defeat, "After I managed to slay Cruez, both Snarl and Bolder have retaliated and taken Ma Chang An for themselves. And so, my army and I have forced to flee. We have spent some years of travelling and searching for new place to stay. Then, we came across to Azure's territories. And since it's defenseless, I decide to take it as my own territories."
Fluttershy gasped, "That explains why Azure decide to abandon the siege in the first place. Devil Destroyer's attacks must have alerted Azure and his army to turn back."
"I don't know if we should be thankful or be afraid about it," Spike said in concern.
Phobos nodded, "Yeah, me too..."
"Unfortunately, we have underestimated Azure Phoenix's army." Bladestrike said in shame, "Nearly one month of fighting with them, they managed to turn the tide and retake their territories..."
"So, we pleaded Lord Virtue to let us stay in," Butterfly Dancer said gently.
"Just because we let you all in doesn't mean we're friends," Warpath Temper snarled in anger, "I don't trust you, bastard!"
Blade Dragoon gave a hard whack on Warpath Temper's head, "Mind your manners, Warpath."
"Either way, Azure Phoenix hasn't been attacking here, has he?" Twilight asked in concern.
Virtue Dragon sighed, "No, he hasn't. Devil Destroyer has done a lot of damages to Azure's Army and Territories. So, it will take them for some times to rebuild his forces. Therefore, we shouldn't be worry about him and his invasions now."
"That's a relief..." Twilight said calmly, "Nothing could gone wrong."
The door was opened. Everyone turned to the door. The greenish armored soldier approached and whispered to Virtue Dragon about the report. The Lord of Xu Province hummed and showed concern looks about it. He nodded a bit.
The soldier turned and opened the door as he allowed the mysterious guest in. Everyone gave the annoying and firm glare at the newcomer - Blazefist, who bowed down before them. He even gave a glare at Bladestrike.
Blazefist snarled a bit, "Bladestrike..."
"Blazefist..." Bladestrike said calmly.
"What are you doing here?!" Applejack demanded in anger.
Rainbow nodded in agreement, "You've got lot of nerve showing your face here, buddy!"
"If you think about getting Twilight on his side, think again!" Rarity said firmly.
Fluttershy nodded, "Nopony makes Twilight to join your side!"
Pinkie Pie scoffed, "Yeah! So back off, buster!"
"Shut up, Hippogriff-Lover brat," Blazefist snarled in anger. His sentence confused Pinkie Pie a bit. He turned and faced to Virtue Dragon. He took the scroll out and spoke, "By order of the Emperor, he decreed that Lord Virtue Dragon of Xu Province, is to find and hunt down Greed Broke for high treason against the Emperor and his Dynasty. The griffon has declared himself 'the emperor' and even used the dynasty's seal for his ambition. No prisoners. No mercy. That is all."
Everyone hummed in concern and surprise as they all chatted about it. Devil Destroyer and his army remained silent and calm. Twilight and her friends were uneasy and concern about it.
"How do we know that the scroll belongs to the Emperor? He's still in Diamond Dog's grasps," Rainbow asked suspiciously. Blazefist passed the scroll to her to read. After reading, she yelped in surprise, "Okay. I think it's his writing."
"H-How," Rarity asked in concern.
Flutttershy nodded in agreement
Blazefist scoffed, "Two weeks ago, Snarl and Bolder were fighting among themselves and even got themselves killed. This gave the Emperor and his loyalists to escape. My lord took the chance to rescue and take him to Xuchang Palace. That's all you need to know."
Everyone was in thoughts of whether or not if they should obey the order especially when the Emperor is under Azure Phoenix's grasp. This could mean he's mastermind of handling politics and military. They were uncertain.
Blazefist scoffed, "If you disobey the order, then you are traitor to the Emperor as well. And I have the right to kill you now."
Everyone except Devil Destroyer's team was annoyed and angered as they all armed and readied their weapons at Blazefist. They don't like his tone and lack of respect to Virtue Dragon.
"Watch your tone, boy!" Blade Dragoon snarled, "You have no right to speak that!"
Dragonspear nodded, "Indeed. If you dare attack our lord, we will strike you down!"
"I accept it," Virtue Dragon said firmly. Everyone looked at him in shock and confusion. He continued, "Whether this is from Azure or the Emperor, I will hunt down and kill Greed Broke for treason against the dynasty."
"Brother..." Blade Dragoon and Warpath Temper asked in shock and concern.
"Good..." Blazefist said firmly, "I'm coming with you. Ordered by my lord."
Virtue Dragon nodded firmly. Everyone else was uneasy and concern about it while Devil Destroyer smirked amusingly and his team remained calm and silent about it.

Inside the dungeon of Xuchang Palace, both Azure Phoenix and Woren Alert were glaring at both chained of both Starlight and Sunset. The mares looked badly injured.
Woren Alert sighed, "Almost two months, mares refused to give in and reveal the information about our little friends."
"Why? Why won't you let me know about Twilight and her friends?" Azure Phoenix demanded firmly.
"So that you can turned her against her friends?" Starlight asked dryly, "Never!"
Sunset nodded, "Twilight isn't Princess of Friendship for nothing! She believed ponies and creatures can become friends!"
Woren Alert chuckled amusingly, "That's a laugh!"
"Princess of Friendship," Azure Phoenix asked dryly before scoffed, "Is this some kind of joke? I am not amused. If that is true, why my spies told me about her friends betrayed and sold her to the Storm King?"
"Sold her?!" Sunset asked in shock, "No! That's not true! She was captured when they...!" She hissed, "When they were having hard time after some problem. I was sure of it!"
Starlight groaned, "Are you trying to fabricate the story to let you know more about her capture?" She scoffed, "It won't work. We know the story well then you are."
"How can you be sure they're telling the truth?" Azure Phoenix asked firmly. Both Starlight and Sunset remained silent as they both were in shock and confuse. He continued, "For all you know, not all is true. And I don't believe her friends were really sorry for her. They're just using her for their ambition!"
"They will never do that to her!" Starlight and Sunset exclaimed in anger.
"Stop playing mind games with us! I've had it!" Starlight exclaimed in anger.
Sunset nodded, "Yeah! Do what you want with us. We won't give you anything about our friends. And Twilight will never turn on us."
"Believe me. She will..." Azure Phoenix said darkly. He turned and walked away, "I must be excused now. I have meeting to attend. Keep probing their minds, Woren..."
Woren Alert smirked, "As you wish, my lord."
As his horn glowed magically, Woren Alert turned and readied to torture and probe Sunset and Starlight's minds. They both really don't like it.

Twilight and her friends were inside the guest's room. They all were having discussion about the latest problem.
"So, what do you think Azure is up to now?" Ben asked in concern.
Twilight hummed in uneasy tone, "I don't know. Whatever he's planning, he wants something to happen. And we need to be ready for it."
"Yeah... That Blazefist... I can't believe that I befriend coach's guy," Rainbow remarked dryly.
"But Rainbow Dash, this is the past, not present. Remember?" Fluttershy reminded calmly.
Rainbow groaned, "I know. But looking at how he reacted and treated us makes me sick!"
"And not to mention, meanie! Why does he hate me so much," Pinkie asked in confusion.
"Hard to tell..." Twilight said in concern while thinking carefully, "But we should be more worry about Devil Destroyer..."
"Why, darling," Rarity asked in concern.
"This maybe in the past. But we all know him too well. He's definitely will turn his back on Virtue sooner or later." Twilight said firmly and calmly, "And we need some group to stay behind to keep an eye on him and his team."
Applejack nodded, "Yeah. We know his team well. We should also worried about Warpath too. Knowing that guy, he's alcoholic when it comes to wines and apple ciders, like somepony else I know of."
"Hey!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed in annoyance.
"No, AJ's right. If Virtue let Warpath stays here, he could do a lot of damages than helping. We can't let that happen. Bilbo Holms entrusted his home to Virtue," Twilight said firmly, "Rainbow, Pinkie, Rarity and Spike remained here. The rest of us will go with Virtue."
"Why me? I wanna see more action!" Rainbow complained.
"Coz you're one pony, who can handle with apple ciders and some alcohol stuffs," Applejack remarked amusingly.
Rainbow groaned, "So, uncool..."
"But, we should keep an eye on Blazefist. He's here for something else," Nyx said in concern, "He didn't come here to help Virtue for sure."
Ben nodded, "Yeah. He's up to something. We should keep an eye on him."
"Right..." Everyone nodded in agreement.

Twilight and her friends were outside of Xu Province's Entrance. And just as they predicted and expected, Warpath Temper was selected to stay behind to guard the place while Virtue Dragon and his allies will march and engage with Greed Broke.
"Are you sure you can handle it, Warpath? Guarding this place isn't a joke," Virtue Dragon said in concern, "It's a serious job."
Warpath Temper groaned, "Just relax, brother. You can count on me. I won't let anything bad happen to here." He scoffed, "Plus, I'll keep an eye on that jackass."
"That's not what he was worried about," Dragonspear said in concern.
Blade Dragoon nodded, "It's your drinking habits."
Warpath Temper groaned, "Relax. I won't drink wines... That much..."
Virtue Dragon sighed, "Just stay out of troubles. And please, don't drink too much."
Warpath Temper nodded, "Got it. I won't let you down."
Virtue Dragon, his allies and the army of 5,000 soldiers began their marching. They all headed to the Shouchun, where Greed Broke resides. Twilight and her friends followed them, and even Blazefist is with them. Warpath Temper, Rarity, Pinkie, Rainbow and Spike remained behind to guard Xu Province.
"Thank you for helping us again. We're in your debt," Virtue Dragon thanked calmly.
Twilight smiled, "I'm just glad to help out. It's the least I can do for not able to stop Azure-!"
"I don't blame you for that. I'm just glad that you and your friends help us out especially making sure my brother won't cause the problems. He always get drunk during his duty."
"Don't worry. Everything will be fine."
Blazefist was close to Twilight from behind, however, he was being watched out by her friends. This annoyed and angered him a lot.
"Will you give it a rest?!" Blazefist snarled.
"Don't act so cool, Blaze. We're on to you," Ben said dryly.
Applejack nodded, "Yeah. We know you're here to get Twilight on his side. Not a chance!"
"We won't let you," Fluttershy said firmly.
"We're watching your moves, buddy," Nyx in her Battle Mode snarled.
Blazefist shrugged, "Whatever. I'm just here to watch Virtue Dragon's movement. That's all. I won't bother Twilight much..."
"We'll see..." Applejack said dryly.

Inside the guests' residents, Devil Destroyer and his two loyal friends have arrived and greeted by a darker pinkish Earth Pony worn the blackish battle armor with red mini-skirt and twin red-feathers helmet - Skycrush, a brown unicorn with short mustache, grayish mane and short tail worn the black Chinese Strategist robe and head-wear - Vile, and The bulky gray Pegasus with crimson mane and tail style worn battle armor - Gigaton.
"My lord," Vile asked amusingly.
"You were right. Those brats are here," Devil Destroyer snarled a bit, "But they left and gone with Virtue while leaving Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Pinkie Pie behind."
Vile chuckled, "This should be easy for me to work on my magic."
"Why is that, master Vile?" Bladestrike asked in serious tone.
"Oracle Twilight is the mare we should be fear the most. They say that she foreseen the future of how the history goes." Vile said calmly, "Without her, taking the castle will be easy as pie."
Gigaton chuckled, "Good one..."
"My lord, are you sure you want to do this? It's unfair for us to attack the pony, who help us." Butterfly Dancer asked in concern.
"And what about the mares? Should we concern of them as well?" Skycrush asked seriously.
"Don't worry. I just need the castle, that's all," Devil Destroyer said calmly, "I'll deal with the rest as much as I please. As for her friends, I don't care. If they get in my way, kill them all."
Bladestrike hummed in concern while showing hesitate looks, "A-As you wish. I'll get the warriors ready, my lord."
"While we're at it, we should be waiting for our little friend of this town," Vile said amusingly.
"Who would that be?" Skycrush asked in concern.
Vile smirked, "Waiting for Warpath to make one mistake. This will turn tide to our side sooner or later..."
Devil Destroyer smirked, "Good... That's what I want to hear..."

At the dining hall, Warpath Temper has invited all officials and officers for a dinner, including three mares and a dragon. This makes most of them uneasy and worried about having a drink of the wine.
"I don't like this." Spike said in concern. Twilight never let him drink any wine beverages, and there's no way he's going to now.
"Right, I mean drinking for minors?!" Pinkie scoffs as she shakes her head. "Is he loco in the coco?"
"I know, and it isn't the right drink for this meal." Rarity comments on the wine being used for this dinner.
Warpath Temper smiled as he spoke to the guests, "Thank you for coming! Today, I would like to make an important announcement! Just before my brothers left, he told me not to drink too much of wine. He thinks I'll get drunk and screw this job upside down."
Spike scoffed, "He was right about that one."
"Yeah. A heavy drinker drinks so much of my apple ciders." Rainbow remarked to her friends a bit.
However Warpath Temper overheard Rainbow and Spike. He gives an angry glare at them while demanding, "What the hell did you say?!"
"Nothing," Spike and Rainbow exclaims quickly. What's more damaging than a drunken Warpath is a sober one!
Warpath Temper scoffed, "Anyway... Tonight we're gonna have a big toast of our drinks. By tomorrow, we'll take our jobs seriously, with no drinks at all. That includes me. You get me?!"
Officials and Officers fearfully answer, "We get you, sir!"
Warpath Temper laughed, "Let's have a drink! A toast to my big brother!"
Everyone took the drink on their wines, including three mares and a dragon. They're all enjoyed drinks their wines happily for few times. And luckily, Rarity, Pinkie and Spike got rid of them by pretending to drink it.
Spike sighed, "Close one... If Twilight sees this, she's gonna kill me."
"I'd never understand why ancient ponies drink so much of wines than healthy drinks. I don't mind drinking it. But too much could cause ponies to be drunk." Rarity said with an annoyed sigh.
"Well, this is the past. Ponies don't know which drinks or food to drink. They just eat and drink. That's all." Pinkie explains how this part of the past works.
Rarity hummed, "When you put it that way, it makes sense."
"That's why modern days are better than 'old days'. Plus, drinking wines is overkill, right, Dash?" Pinkie turns as she gasps upon noticing something, "Dash, no!"
Too late; Rainbow Dash burped drunkly, "Wow... I'd never knew drinking these kind of stuffs could be..." She hiccup a bit, "so much better than apple cider!: The mare hiccup once more, "Woohoo! I love it!"
"Oh dear... That's not good." Rarity spoke in concern. Rainbow is going to end up doing or saying something wrong.
Spike sighed, "Should have brought the apple cider here."
Warpath Temper laughed, "That's more like it! Good job!" He noticed a stallion with mustache didn't drink and groaned in annoyance, "Why aren't you drinking your drinks?"
Official yelped, "Sorry, sir! I can't! I can't drink beer!"
Warpath Temper groaned sickly,"Why not, Old Yeller?"
Old Yeller gulped, "Because I'm allergic and sick to the wine! I can't drink it!"
Warpath Temper armed with a punch snarls, "When I said drink it, and I meant it! So drink it now before I bash your head!"
Old Yeller squealed in fear, "Mercy!"
Rarity using her magic to Warpath Temper from punching quickly protest, "Warpath, that's enough! You can't force pony to take a drink on wine!"
"She's right! I mean, if the stallion doesn't wanna drink if he has a good reason to do so, don't forced him!" Spike exclaims in agreement.
"What they said!" Pinkie exclaims, concerned that Warpath is going to make things worst than better.
Rainbow Dash hiccup drunkly, "Woohoo! More drinks! Better than apple cider!"
"Like she's doing right now!"
"Ugh. Rainbow is not funny drunk." Rarity commented, putting her nose in the air in disgust.
"Buzz off, old hag! I don't take orders from wimpy hag!" Warpath snaps furiously at Rarity. Needless to say, this doesn't make her happy one bit!
"Old Hag; Why I oughtta-" Unfortunately, before Rarity could finish, Warpath Temper slammed a punch on her head, making her let go in the progress. "OW!"
"Please, sir! I beg of you!" Old Yeller exclaims at Warpath once more.
"SHUT UP! Give him some beats now!" Warpath Temper demands his guard ruthlessly.
Pinkie gasped, "You can't do that! It's not fair!"
Rainbow Dash laughed drunk as she demands otherwise, "Who cares?! Give him some beatings now!"
"Ugh! You need to lay off the stuff right now." Spike remarks to Rainbow in disgust by her behavior.
"And I need some ice on my face." Rarity mumbled, rubbing the part of her face that Warpath punched a few minutes ago.
The soldiers approached and dragged the Old Yeller to outside. They all gave him some serious beatings on his back.
"That can't be good..." Spike said with a groan. Something tells him this is going to come back to bite everyone on the flank.
"Yeah, I know. Offscreen beatings don't help the fact that poor people are still beaten." Pinkie said in agreement with Spike, sort of.
Rainbow drunkly exclaims, "Woohoo! Beat him to the pulp now! Beat him now!"
Pinkie groaned as she gave a slam punch on Rainbow's head, "You need timeout, Rainbow Dash!"
Rarity sighed, "Honestly. Rainbow Dash needed to control her drinks."

At guest homeland, Devil Destroyer and his team were waiting. Most of the soldiers were boring and annoyed that they won't get some action to do. A scout has arrived and reported to Vile.
Vile smiled as he announces, "My lord. It is time."
Devil Destroyer gave a snarl as he answers, "It's about time..."
Bladestrike hummed in shame, "Forgive me, Blade Dragoon..."

Rarity and her friends were inside the guest room. Rarity was sewing her dress. Rainbow was snoring peacefully. Pinkie was drawing her artwork. Spike hummed in concern while walking around.
Rainbow groaned while waking up, "What hit me?"
"You got drunk after drinking too much of wine. And talk something stupid. So, I have to hit your head." Pinkie explains in disapproval of her friend's behavior earlier.
"What?!"
"Hey, she had to!" Spike explains to Rainbow in disgust. "You were way out of line and were encouraging Warpath's beating of an official. I mean, really?"
"Right, even when you were on Apple Cider, you didn't acted like much of a brute." Rarity remarked in agreement. Hearing that made Rainbow a bit shameful.
"Sorry, guys. I didn't mean it..." Rainbow said to her friends sheepishly.
"Well, at least it's over now, darling."
"Right, maybe next time, lay off the wine." Spike said as Rainbow held her head in pain. That wine was too much, even for her!
"At least, things can't get any worse?" Pinkie asked with a shrug.
SCREAM! The ponies and a dragon yelped in shock and concern. They don't like the sound of it.
Spike groaned, "You just have to say it?!"
Warpath Temper came to the guest's room. He looked injured and wounded badly.
Warpath Temper sighed, "You're alright! We have to go now!"
"Why? What's going on?" Pinkie ask, making her friends groaned. Why must she keep asking jinxed questions?
"We've been betrayed! The city is overrun! We have to go now! We have to get out of here now!"
"But we are supposed to make sure the city doesn't get overrun!" Spike exclaims to Warpath in alarm. "Twilight and the others are counting on us!"
"Right, if we leave, we will failed in our mission!" Rainbow exclaims in agreement.
"As much as I want to fight them off, but getting out of here and find our pals now!" Warpath exclaims seriously to the group. It's true, there's too much to fight off. They gotta get out and fast!
Rarity hissed, "I hate to say but we have to leave this place."
"But we promised Twilight that we'll defend this place for Bilbo! We can't just abandon it!" Rainbow points out once more to Rarity.
"We know, Dash. But nothing is important than staying alive for our friendship." Pinkie sighs in agreement. What's a city, but a place?
Spike nodded as he added, "We'll get our city back! We have to go now!"
Rainbow groaned in defeat, "Fine!"
Warpath Temper sighed, "Let's go now!"
Warpath Temper headed off while Rarity and her friends follow him from behind. Five of them fought bravely against Devil Destroyer's army as they were breaking through the enemies' troops. They all came across to the gate, where it was blocked by Bladestrike, Skycrush and Old Yeller.
"Uh-oh..." Rarity said in agreement. This doesn't look good.
Old Yeller hissed, "You're gonna regret this, jackass! I'm gonna see you hell for good!" The girls and Spike groaned. They knew that Warpath's treatment towards him earlier is going to bite him all on the flank.
Skycrush snarls, "Surrender now. Or die like a brave warrior."
"How could you?! Virtue let you all stay here! And now, you all turned on him!" Rainbow exclaims angrily to the trio.
"We knew you all can't be trusted!" Pinkie exclaims angrily and disgusted.
Bladestrike on the other hoof spoke up, "If you knew it, then why not finish us before?"
Rainbow groaned, "We would have if Virtue hadn't been so nice to you bad guys!"
"Yeah! You're gonna be sorry for this!" Pinkie exclaims to the villains in agreement.
Bladestrike again just scoffed as if this is a terrible joke to him, "Bad guys? Is this a joke? In this world, there is no good or bad guy because you will never who you can trust - your own ally or enemy especially you three. You all betrayed your friends' trust."
"What," The future one exclaims angrily to Bladestrike.
"How dare you! We never betrayed their trust!" Spike protests angrily.
"Right, we all have been goodie good friends and wouldn't sell them out like how you did!" Pinkie exclaims in agreement.
"As far as we're concerned, you got no loyalty!" Rainbow remarked with a frown at the trio.
"Keep lying to yourself. You're the real traitors, not us. You have no pride of being warrior and no loyalty to anyone but yourself." Skycrush remarked to the group cruelly. Somehow saying that was a armor piercing question to a certain rainbow maned pony.
Rainbow looked down in shock, mumbling, "She's... He... They're right... I've let so many ponies down..."
"Don't listen to him, darling. They are wicked liars who would say or do anything to freak us out." Rarity said to her friend in comfort.
"Right, even though we made some terrible dumb mistakes before." Pinkie comments, this only made Rainbow a bit more down.
"Pinkie; not helping."
Warpath Temper screamed, "Shut up! I've had it! I'm gonna kill you all!"
"I'll start with you for ruining me!" Old Yeller exclaimed. He is still outraged by Warpath's treatment towards him and is wanting revenge!
Warpath Temper and Old Yeller charged at each other. And just before the old stallion could do anything, Warpath Temper grabbed and slammed him to the ground hard, causing the Old Yeller to die.
"You're next, jackass!" Warpath exclaims, turning his attention to Bladestrike.
Warpath Temper screamed in anger as he charged and attacked Bladestrike, who blocked and deflected the attacks. Both of them swung their blades at each other fiercely and violently for few times.
Skycrush engaged with three ponies and the dragon. Four of them dodged and avoided Skycrush's attacks fiercely for few times as well. Rarity summoned her Diamond Force-Field in blocking and deflecting the attacks. Pinkie fired her party canon, followed by Spike firing his dragon flames at her. Rainbow charged in while punching and kicking at her. Skycrush dodged the attacks easily before swung her Crossed Pikes at them in boomerang style. The ponies dodge the attacks before they all get punched and kicked off by her for few times.
Rainbow groaned, "We're wasting time! Time to go boom!"
"Everypony move!" Pinkie exclaims quickly.
Rainbow flew up to the sky as she unleashed her Sonic Rainboom. Her friends moved aside. She charged and rammed both Bladestrike and Skycrush aside. Seeing the opening, they're all quickly escape now.
Bladestrike and Skycrush recovered from the attacks while witnessing their enemies escaped.
"We've gotta go after them now!" Skycrush exclaims to Bladestrike furiously.
Bladestrike firmly spoke, "Don't bother. Even if they did come back, they will not stand a chance against us. They will serve Lord Devil Destroyer. They have no choice."
"I see. Good. They will know how my father felt for being treated him like dog. They'll get that treatment!"

It was raining. Virtue Dragon and his team were inside the camps. Virtue Dragon was discussing with his generals, Twilight, Applejack and Ben about dealing with Greed Broke. Fluttershy, Nyx and Spike were playing cards.
While ponies were busy with their works, they all heard some ponies calling them. They turned to the front and found some group arrived and entered the camp.
Virtue Dragon and his sworn brothers shouted in shock, "Warpath?!"
Twilight and her friends shouted in alarm "Rainbow?! Rarity?! Pinkie?! Spike?!"
As the heroes rushes towards the newcomers, the alarmed Twilight continues, "What happen?"
Rainbow sobbed tearfully and shamed, "Twilight, I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!"
"We failed you." Rarity sighs, feeling ashamed as well.
"Yeah; we really ruin it." Pinkie groans, her mane and tail are deflated, which normally happened when she's sad.
"What do you mean?" Ben asked the girls in concern.
"Right, what happened at the city?" Nyx ask her honorary aunts and brother.
"I'm so sorry, brother. I really am! Because of me, we've lost Xu Province!" Warpath exclaims, much to everyone else's shock and horror.
"What," Dragonspear yells out in alarm.
"How," Blade Dragoon demanded to Warpath in disbelief.
"I got drunk." Warpath said, feeling ashamed of getting drunk. If only he kept his drinking under control, he would've saw the treachery coming sooner.
"Warpath! What were you thinking?!" Virtue Dragon demanded towards Warpath angrily. He left his friend to take care of the city, and this is the result that he'd gotten?!
"I know. I know. I'm such an idiot." Warpath screamed in torment. "I deserve punishment!"
Warpath Temper grabbed the sword as he was ready to commit suicide. Blade Dragoon and Dragonspear quickly stopped him while begging him not to do it. And at the same time, Virtue Dragon gave a big slap on Warpath Temper's face hard.
"Warpath, commit suicide won't make things better! But I'm glad you're safe and alive." Virtue Dragon said sternly yet relived that his friend is all right.
"But brother..." Warpath spoke, but Virtue Dragon held up a hoof, silencing him.
"That's enough, Warpath. We'll get our home back. For now, rest..."
"Twilight, we... No... I'm sorry. I really blow it out again. I'm such a loser." Rainbow said, feeling ashamed for messing up as well. If she hasn't been so drunk, the mare could've done better.
"Don't say that, Rainbow." Fluttershy said meekly to her long time friend.
"Right, not like you meant to be drunk as a skunk and mess everything up." Phobos remarked stupidly. He yelps as Nyx hits on the back of the head. "Ouch!"
"Not helping, Phobos!" Nyx sighs towards her friend.
"Rainbow; don't talk like that. I'm just glad you and others are safe." Twilight said sternly yet relived that the others are safe and sound. They lost a city, but they kept their friends.
"H-How could you forgive me so easily? I screw up a lot!" Rainbow exclaims in disbelief. Even Twilight should've admit, she doesn't deserve forgiveness for messing up a lot!
"That maybe true. But at the end, you make it up by protecting and getting them to safety. That's what you've always do, didn't you?"
"Hmm... I guess so..."
"Right. We can't always be perfect." Ben said to Rainbow with a light chuckle. "We mess up on one time or another."
"Right, like during the Gabby Gums incident." Rarity said in agreement. "Although were we in the right to be angry to Sweetie and her friends?"
"Let's just not speak of it again." Applejack remarked, feeling ashamed of that. "That's one time I felt the worst."
"Good. Now, we need to figure out of how to get that land back to Virtue." Twilight said with a smile of relief.
However, before any ideas can be given, one of Virtue Dragon's Soldiers gallops towards everyone, screaming out in alarm, "Report; Greed Broke is moving his army here now! We're under attacked!"
Everyone gasped to hear the news. They're all in panicked and worry about it.
"Oh, why can't everything be good for us for once," Spike exclaims as he slapped himself on the forehead.
"And we jinxed it again." Pinkie said embarrassedly.

After the rainstorm has stopped, Virtue Dragon gathered all of his forces as they're preparing for the battle against Greed Broke. Twilight and her friends joined their friends to battle. All of them stood and waited firmly at the hill. They all armed with their weapons. And even Blazefist was there to help them as well.
As the dawn breaks in, the army of Greed Broke's Griffon Army are marching and arriving to the battlefield. They all stood and readied for battle against Virtue Dragon. Greed Broke spotted Twilight and her friends stood besides with Virtue Dragon and his army. He laughed amusingly at them.
"Oh my... If it isn't the Tiger Cub and her little friends," Greed Broke said amusingly, "What brings you here with the pathetic ruler like Virtue? Don't tell me. Here to help them?" He laughed out loud, "Pathetic!"
"Laugh it up, chicken boy!" Rainbow remarked dryly and angrily, "At least, they're better friends than you, chicken wings!"
"Well, hopefully not to get drunk too much like you and Warpath did," Pinkie commented.
Rainbow groaned, "Not funny, Pinkie!"
"Chicken wing?! How dare you?!" Greed Broke demanded in anger before groaned, "So, that's how you want to play?! Very well! Teach them a lesson, warriors!"
Virtue Dragon groaned, "Warriors, prepare for battle!"
Both Greed Broke's and Virtue Dragon's Army readied their weapons for the battle. And just before they could start their battle, they heard a loud yet wild dragon's roar. They turned to the northern area, where they found Devil Destroyer and his army marching to the battlefield. They're all stood before both armies.
"Damn it. Of our rotten luck," Applejack cursed in concern.
Rainbow groaned, "You've got a lot of nerve for showing your faces to us!"
Pinkie snarled, "Yeah! What do you want now?!"
"Enough! Quit squabbling like children!" Devil Destroyer shouted in anger and annoyance. Everyone looked confuse as annoyed and angered by him especially Rainbow, Rarity, Pinkie, Spike and even Warpath Temper after what has happen to Xu Province. He continued, "I'm tired of this useless bickering! You're both finished! Now make peace!"
"Son of a bitch," Warpath Temper cursed angrily, "I'm gonna kill you for this!"
"Make peace?! Is that supposed to be a joke?!" Rainbow asked angrily.
Fluttershy nodded angrily, "Did you honestly expect us to forget of what you did to our friends?!"
"Shame on you," Applejack exclaimed in agreement.
Greed Broke huffed in annoyance, "They're right! Why should I make peace with peasants?!"
"Very well. Then, let us make a bet." Devil Destroyer said amusingly as he climbed down his Red Hare. He threw his halberd straight to the south, which was 115 meters ahead. This surprised and confused everyone. He continued while pointed at his weapon, "I shall aim for that weapon with this bow. If I strike, then you both will withdraw the army. However, if I miss, then you are free to do as you please."
"B-But that's impossible!" Twilight exclaimed in concern, "Nopony could make that shot at distance especially hitting it!"
"She's right. Nopony can," Rainbow said angrily.
Blazefist hummed suspiciously, "Hmm... I wouldn't count on it..."
"But..." Greed Broke said amusingly, "This could be entertaining. I shall agree to this bet."
Devil Destroyer smiled as he turned to Virtue Dragon, "Virtue, I trust that you do the same."
Virtue Dragon was uneasy and uncertain especially he was betrayed and his home was conquered by Devil Destroyer. But now, his army is outnumbered and outmatched against Greed Broke's army. He has no choice but reluctantly agree to his bet.
Rainbow groaned, "I can't believe this. We're trusting that jackass?!"
"Do we have the choice?" Phobos asked uneasily.
"He's right. We're out of option now," Twilight said in concern.
With everyone's and even Warpath Temper agreed with the gambit, both armies stood firmly while watching the event. Bladestrike gave the bow and arrow for Devil Destroyer to use. The Demon Warrior armed and readied his bow and arrow as he aimed it at his halberd.
As everyone was waiting and watching the event, Devil Destroyer smirked as he fired his arrow. It shot straight right at... HIS Halberd's top! Everyone was in shock and surprise by it.
"No way," Rainbow exclaimed in shock and concern.
"He hit that shot!" Ben exclaimed in surprise.
Greed Broke groaned in anger and disappointment before sighed, "Very well. Out of respect for our wager, I shall lay down my claws."
Greed Broke led his army to withdraw and returned to his homeland. Devil Destroyer smirked, "Wise move..."
Rainbow groaned, "That doesn't mean we forgive you for what you did! What the hell are you after?! Why help us?!"
"I don't..." Devil Destroyer answered dryly and darkly, which surprise everyone. He turned and glared at Bladestrike and Vile, who remained firm and calm. He continued, "Be grateful that there are some ponies, who cares about you. After all, we're friends." He smirked and taunted, "'Friendship is Magic'."
Twilight and her friends were annoyed and angered by Devil Destroyer's tone. They really hate someone like him insulted their friendship.
"Either way, we all shall return home and discuss about our position," Devil Destroyer said firmly, "Now, let us go home now." Devil Destroyer ordered his army to turn and head home now. He turned to Vile, "So?"
Vile smirked, "Exactly what we planned, my lord."
Twilight and her friends were uneasy about trusting Devil Destroyer, but nevertheless, he did save them from getting attacked and killed by Greed Broke's army. They turned and faced to Bladestrike, who bowed down firmly and looked down.
"You help us?" Blade Dragoon asked in surprise.
Bladestrike nodded while looking down, "I know what we did is unforgivable. But as the warrior and general, I must obey to Lord Devil Destroyer."
"Yeah. That is to lie and attack your own allies," Rainbow exclaimed in anger, "Why should we believe that you really help us?!"
"Believe it or not. I repay my debt to my friend by saving him and his family," Bladestrike said firmly, "I told Devil Destroyer that having you all acted as front line army will protect us and defend our home. And vice-versa for us."
Everyone was uncertain and surprise by Bladestrike's answer and helping them, despite of what his master has done.
"I must take my leave. We shall meet again," Bladestrike said firmly, "And hopefully, we will not show any hostile to each other."
Bladestrike turned and headed off to meet up with his master and others. Twilight and her friends were still uncertain and concern yet relieved that he actually help them and their friends. But what happens next?

"With Devil Destroyer taken over the Xu Province by brute force and tricks, he became the Governor of the land. With no place to call home, Virtue Dragon and his family have no choice but to submit and obey the Demon Warriors as his subordinates now..."
Twilight Sparkle and her friends were now at the same resident house of Fortress. All of them were upset and depressed due to Devil Destroyer has taken Virtue Dragon's home and acted as its guardian. They have now limited food and soldiers to defend themselves now.
Warpath Temper groaned and screamed in anger, "That tears it! I can't take it anymore!"
"Lord Warpath, what are you intend to do?!" Dragonspear asked in concern.
"What does it look like?!" Warpath Temper asked angrily, "I'm gonna charge to the city and take down that jackass for good!"
"I'm with you!" Rainbow supported.
"Me too," Pinkie joined in.
"Warpath, that's enough!" Blade Dragoon exclaimed firmly, "The last thing we want is getting into troubles. We don't have enough soldiers and resources to fight back. And it's best that we wait."
"But we can't do nothing," Applejack said in concern, "And it's your home. You can't just pretend that everything's okay."
"Quite so," Rarity said in agreement.
Fluttershy hummed in concern, "There must be something we can do."
"There is," Virtue Dragon said in concern as he turned and looked at Twilight, "And you know who I'm talking about. He's the only pony we can rely on now."
Twilight gasped, "You don't mean..."
Ben hissed, "You can't mean-!"
"He is," Blazefist said calmly, "Azure Phoenix can help you get your home back. And you know you all can't do it without him."
"Go to hell!" Warpath Temper exclaimed in anger.
"No way! There's no way we're gonna trust him after what he did here!" Rainbow exclaimed in anger.
Rarity nodded, "Indeed. How can we be certain that he's willing to help us?!"
"And how do we know that he's not gonna trick us for Twilight to join him?!" Applejack asked angrily, "I'd rather fight than trusting him."
"Everyone, calm down. There is no reason to get mad at about this," Dragonspear said calmly.
"Hello! Azure attacked and killed lots of good and innocent ponies for revenge?! Remember?!" Rainbow asked in anger, "Forgot about it?!"
Dragonspear sighed, "Of course, I do. But we'll be no better than he is if we let the past stopped us from saving our home."
"I agree. We must put it aside now," Blade Dragoon said firmly.
"I don't need your opinion, only hers," Blazefist said dryly as he was looking at Twilight. He continued, "And you know this is your only chance to help Virtue and the ponies of Xu Province. There is nopony else now..."
"Twilight, you don't mean it?" Fluttershy asked in concern.
Applejack nodded, "Please, Twilight. There must be somepony else, who can help us!"
"Like Brave Tiger, he and his family can help us," Ben suggested.
"I don't think so, daddy. They're still dealing with bandits and putting order to their kingdom. We can't just ask them to drop their doing and come to our rescue," Nyx said in concern before sighed, "Like Virtue and Blazefist said, Azure Phoenix is our only chance."
"Man... I hate tough choices..." Spike remarked in anger.
Phobos scoffed, "Tell me about it..."
"If I was a smart pony than these idiots, I'd go for Azure Phoenix. He's the only ally that can help you on this," Blazefist said firmly.
"Hey, butt out!" Ben exclaimed in anger.
Blazefist got into a heated argument with Ben and his friends about trusting and asking Azure Phoenix for his help to assist Virtue Dragon and his army. Twilight gave some thoughts about her decision especially involving asking Azure Phoenix to help her and her friends to save their home. After some thinking, she sighed in defeat. She has made her decision now...

Twilight and her friends were outside of Xu Province Fort. Virtue Dragon and his sworn brothers were with them. They have made their decision.
"I can't believe you!" Rainbow shouted in anger, "Twilight, why?!"
Twilight sighed, "We have no choice. Azure Phoenix is the only army that is close to Xu Province. And not to mention, Brave Tiger and his clan are too far from here." She looked down in shame and upset, "He's my friend too..."
Her friends was in shock and surprise to hear it. They couldn't believe that Twilight still call Azure Phoenix her friend after what he has done to her and Ponies from Xu Province.
"Like it or not, she does have the point," Applejack said in concern before sighed, "Whatever decision you make, Twi. We're with you till the end."
"She's right. We'll always be there for you," Ben said firmly.
Everyone chatted in agreement with Applejack and Ben's comments, and even Rainbow supported it reluctantly. Twilight smiled in relief. She turned and looked at Virtue Dragon and his sworn brothers.
"Don't worry. We'll be back with more reinforcement. I promised." Twilight said firmly.
Virtue Dragon nodded, "I know you will. We will wait."
Twilight and her friends turned to the front. They all headed off at once, accompanied by Blazefist. They were now going to Xuchang Province. During their travelling, Blazefist was keeping his eyes on Twilight and her friends as he secretly smiled.
"Looks like everything is going as you plan, Master Schemetrick, Master Woren and Master Ratio..."

A week ago before his arrival at Xu Province...
Blazefist has returned to Xuchang Province after he has unsuccessfully convince Twilight to join Azure Phoenix's army. He eventually learned about his lord has rescued the Emperor and become his Regent and Prime Minister of Qin Dynasty.
Inside the office, Blazefist reported to Azure Phoenix about the event that has happened on the South. Schemetrick, Ratio and Woren were there as his advisors.
"I see... What a shame..." Azure Phoenix commented calmly.
"Forgive me, my lord. I failed..." Blazefist said in disappointment while lowered his head down, "I deserve punishment."
Azure Phoenix brushed off Blazefist's claim, "Don't be, Lieutenant. Twilight won't be easily turn to our sides, as long as her friends prevented her. And the only way to get her is to break her friendship."
"Yes. I'm still trying to find more information of our little friends," Woren said slyly before grunted, "Unfortunately, these mares are too stubborn to let us know."
"That maybe so." Ratio said calmly, "But they still have same weakness - trust issues and breaking promises. If we can make it happen, Twilight will doubt their trusts and loyalty to join us."
Schemetrick nodded, "Yes. It's effective to devastate her. But we mustn't be involve of it."
"Why not," Woren asked curiously.
Ratio hummed, "I see. They will get too suspicious on us if we tried to talk to her. And rather than communicating with her..."
Woren chuckled a bit, "We used others to do the dirty work for us."
"Exactly," Schemetrick said in agreement, "There are many ponies, who don't treat Twilight and her friends well, or even agreed to her concept of Friendship. That will be perfect for our advantages."
"Yes. I would like to know more of your plans, my advisors," Azure Phoenix ordered.
Blazefist nodded firmly, "I will not fail you this time!"
Three advisors provided their strategies and plans to Azure Phoenix and Blazefist about turning Twilight to their sides and devastated her friendship and trust with her friends...

Twilight and her friends have arrived at Xuchang Palace, where they met up with Azure Phoenix and his generals. They all bowed before the Lord and Leader of Imperial Phoenix Army. Azure Phoenix stood there while smiled proudly.
"Welcome back, Oracle Twilight. I've been expecting you..." Azure Phoenix greeted calmly.
Twilight sighed, "Yes, my lord. I have returned. And I need your help."
Azure Phoenix smiled, "I would be glad to help you, my dear..."
