7293336 No, there is a larger story at play, though this story does have quite a bit of murder in it. Serin will play a very large role in the second half of the story, and is a driving force behind the "thriller" part of YHaY: Twisted Product. One of the facets of Simon/Pollux is the fact that he derives some sick, perverted glee from the thrill of the kill. However, as anyone who has an interest in thrillers knows, leaving a trail can only end badly. Doubly so for Simon/Pollux. We have a detective and we have a murderer, thus you can expect a chase to occur.

This is the MLP fanfiction version of the human centipede: so ridiculous and overdone as to not even be offensive.

7293633 Well, I can give you this: there is an action sequence where two ponies will die, several more will be injured, and three Manehattan police officers will die in the line of duty. The kill count slows after this due to Serin's activities in Equestria. Chapters 5 and 6 are the most brutal and unfeeling chapters in the entirety of the story, they were written with this in mind (part of the reason why I took so long in writing them, and why I'm stilling working on 6). Personally, I think I went a little far in conceptualizing these two chapters. I had a much more vivid and visceral death planned for Doppler, to be honest, but I decided it was too much to post. The next chapter is filled with fire, blood, fire, and a hefty axe.

I suppose I can understand where he's coming from, on some level. The thrill of the hunt, the chase, basking in your superiority and victory over the prey. Toying with them, like one would play with an ant; so feeble, completely oblivious to the fact that you could end it's life with a flick of your finger, morbid curiosity on what would happen if you crushed one of its legs, placed it in a puddle, watching it futilely struggle to survive.

And the expressions. The fascination in knowing you can cause them to change from happy to sad to good to bad with but an action, imagining their very thoughts, trying to picture yourself in their place, as they move at least partially in response to said action. I like it so far. I don't usually do gore (as in, it doesn't affect my opinion much), but here it's used for characterization instead of just for its own sake. The contrast between the murderer and the detective, their different mindsets and methods. The ease with which the killer slips through the world, and the difficulty the detective has just trying to catch up, keeps things nice and tense even right off the bat.

Fun stuff. I usually find YHaY to be a bore, so this is a nice change.

Well, let us know when ready. (side track) Just a thought that I get horny about, think about that remake planet of the apes trilogy, but fuck it up a bit, with the humans part in the movies replaced with one, more, or all other non-human civilizations, and the apes part( whether if anyone would like them to be part of the story alongside humanity(primate chant: primates together strong!/primates new beginning, and inevitable end! Or against them too)) replaced with humans, with humanity slowly crawling on a deadly and dangerous path to become a dominate-apex-species.(not just predator, anything in the food-chain can get eaten by even the smallest and weakest of things) Hell! Maybe put some religious history in the story by saying the great flood occurred because it was a last ditch effort to destroy humanity. I might do it, but I might not. For me there's alot of things to be taken into consideration, 'cuz I want a story to have the things that will get people to be interested into something so much that they will copy it and put there own spin on it, twist and sprinkle whatever they would like onto it that to get it done. Like you with this story, and so many others. This also goes for anybody, and they wanna do it, not just because they want too,(it's acceptable though by my understanding) but because they "need" too.
