Rarity and Fluttershy have found love in each other, and after a wonderful date, they're ready to consummate in the most intimate way. Or rather, one of them is.
Well, that went about as well as a situation like this could have gone. Certainly went better than I thought it would. I'm looking forward to seeing what Fluttershy's idea is, cause I have no clue how to solve this, short of using magic to change one of them somehow.
I have no clue how to solve this, short of using magic to change one of them somehow
That's exactly what I was thinking after reading chapter 5. And to be honest I wouldn't be okay at all with such direction. I mean, in that case there would be three possible magical solutions: 1. change gender for Fluttershy 2. change sexuality for Rarity 3. make Fluttershy's lust go away forever
All of those are just a big NO for me. Because in such situation it's for the best to just stay good friends. It would make the situation less relatable for us, human beings, because we don't have magic in our world, which would mean any magical solution wouldn't work at all.
But right now I have high hopes for the story. It all depends on what Fluttershy's idea would be, and how everything will work for both of them in the end.
6035079 That's exactly what I thought. I don't think magic is Fluttershy's idea though, being a pegasus she wouldn't know the extent of what is possible with magic. However yes, all magical solutions would pretty much ruin this story.
6035436 Just calm down about it, consider the more down to earth practical ideas here. No need for any of the crazy stuff you mentioned. The solution isn't really that difficult.
On an entirely different note, back midway through chapter five, while understandable inappropriate, and really having nothing to do with this story, with all of Rarity's struggling... it kept reminding me of Lewis C.K.'s saddest handjob story, and I kinda laughed a bit at Rarity's flailings for a moment.
6035567 I understand. I just can't really think of how exactly Fluttershy is going to solve this and make it work. That's why I don't write stories. I'm not really that smart to think of something realistic and good. XD
6035644 Well, not knowing what will happen is a good thing. And you already know it's not going in a bad direction. And yes, waiting a month would be painful. Fortunately, Tal has this story written already.
6035875 6035436 I just realized that I update this story exactly once every four days. Gives you a bit of a hint for when the next chapter will be out. And yes, stories that update only once every month or even less frequently can be maddening.
I liked "I Love To See You Smile" and started to read that continuation, and also "Green", but as soon as I realized how good they were and how long it takes for new chapters to come up, I decided to put them off until they are both finished. Because if I went deep enough into them and then had to wait for that long, it would be really insufferable for me...
So I decided I'll just wait until both of those stories are finished and then read them all from beginning to end. That's pretty much how I do in such situations. If stories are long and updates take too long, I just wait till they are finished and read only after that. XD
I went into this story only after noticing from earlier chapters that it updates every few days. By the way, now I see it's a part of the series, so as soon as it's finished I'll go read the series from the beginning (with re-reading this one in the end).
Taialin, your avatar picture is way too cute, and it reminds me how much Fluttershy has grown as a character by season 5.
6037298 6037346 Heh. Well, Green may be a while yet. It's a series, meant to be read in little arcs of three chapters with interludes in between. Tal is writing more traditional stories with rising and falling action. Also, his story is very focused on Fluttershy and Rarity. Green... has a much broader focus, with subplots galore.
Very moving and very tender chapter. Certainly what was needed for both readers and characters after the last one.
Omg fluttershy, well done.
I didn't see that coming at all, i was expectig tears, anger or confusion. An understanding, assertive fluttershy is so cool!
I can't wait to see where this goes.

This was really good!
Like how it turned out so far! Now I'm interested to see what would be Fluttershy's idea about.

I don't see it as a spoiler to tell you none of those things happen. What actually happens is far more interesting.
:O

All this teasing and suspense is killing me!
I don't want to imagine what it would be like if the story would get new chapters only once a month...

*looks at Green*
N-nevermind.
Okay? Now I wonder what Fluttershy is planing.

Also, "You Make My Whole Life Worthwhile".

Whoa Flutters, what're you cooking up in that head of yours?
This series is very interesting to me.
It's not often I see a fan fiction that deals with the difference between bisexuality and biromanticism, and that's a very important distinction.
In the last two chapters, I found myself thinking, "Wow, I'm really glad I'm biromantic AND bisexual." xD
Anyway, well done. I'm enjoying this.

Hmm... Sounds familiar
6058490 In fairness, though, where Flarity is, you will usually find Steel Resolve.
