This one...confuses me.
Luna was stuck on the moon..Got forced off the moon by massive impact (Believable), went flying at the speed of light (absolutely unbelivable, unless you are trying to say that she was only on the moon for about ten years by her perspective) and she passed solar systems( Which would indicate that she was flying for at least a few days..But likely far longer, due to both the speed of light and the amount travelled)...and also, hitting the water at that speed would kill her anyways...
But after meeting the kid..SHE GOES BACK? She has that much magical power? WHY DIDN'T SHE JUST LEAVETHEMOONINTHEFIRSTPLACE.

3: She slowed down, so the water didn't kill her. Besides, the family is rich. They have a deep swimming pool XD

1. It would probably take a few WEEKS at bare minimum. It takes roughly 5.5 hours for light from the sun to reach Pluto.
2. I'll just chock that up to various passings of other planets/moons/asteroids affecting her speed.
3. At a speed for her to be on fire, she would actually be safer hitting the dirt. At a speed even near that, it would be akin to slamming into a giant block of solid, extremely dense concrete. A very, very giant block.
